What movie maker would be the best? I just am fed up with Windows Movie Maker. And I'm not going to pay anything to get one :D
What's wrong with wmm? I use it for all mine and still get lots of youtube ratings and stuff :o But to be honest, I know how to reverse vids in wmm now anyways.... Also there are no free ones...just trial...
My guess would be to take a snapshot of every frame in the clip you want to reverse, and then put them back together backwards, but the thing is, WMM frames seem rather...Large. It seems like it moves over more than one frame when you try just moving over one. Could be a downloaded effect though. Anyway, I use Sony Vegas 7.0, which is wonderful (you can get Vegas Movie Studio for as low as $70, maybe $60 if you're lucky, unless you want the version with masking, which costs several hundred). I used to have Movie Studio, and it was really nice too, it just lacked a few abilities of the professional version (i.e., you could only add something like two or three extra tracks, as mentioned earlier there was no masking, etc.), but it's definitely worth the money. I hear Adobe Premiere/Adobe Premiere Elements is nice too, but I've never tried it.

Ulead VideoStudio is like a glorfied version of WMM but it has multiple overlays for Split screens and tons of other stuff and it only cossts $79.99 on Amazon.
I'm trying out the new version of Pinnacle Studio. It's pretty good but you have to have a good graphic card on your computer. Also WMM's freezing made me angry...
I got Pinnacle Studio as well, but I can't use it cuz as you said, you need a good graphic card.... which I don't have. So I'm stuck with WMM until my dad can get another graphic card. -_-
