Most ignorant thing ever said about a video game

I can't at the moment I keep getting a message saying, "Service Temporarily Unavailable".

 

I'm religious, and I'm not narrow minded. I agree with what you said his review, but you worded that in a bit of an offensive way. No offense, but you can't say that because, you don't know every religious person in the world, right?
I am religious, but I don't take it upon myself to review things that way though.

That game is an awsome game, and that creationism **** he was talken about was in the english commercial God dammit. I own the game (the galatic addition as a matter a fact), and hell, that son of a ***** is dead wrong about the game. Dam paranoid son of a *****.........

Pisses me off though, cuz this game is freaken big news. The creature creator was pretty dam good, the theme works well, and I mean, then here comes this dumb **** just boasten out all these dumb ass comments. Total bull.......

Thats true. He pretty much proves that with his Spore, MGS4, Halo, GTA4, and BioShock "reviews".

Ya? I mean, what, does he work for a company or somethen? Whoever wrote the reveiw. Where did it come from?

 

It came from a branch off this one website called, "OBJECTIVE: Ministries" Which is the biggest website of ignorant Christian Extremists ever. They are so ignore that they actually got an artical about them that was on Wikipedia pulled down because they said, "It was spreading lies."

 

Quoted for truth.Deathsight haven't you seen the dvd's that came with it.They made serious discoveries because of this game and if anyone listened to an idiot like him they wouldn't have made such a discovery.

Ya, I have. In all truth, it did not peak my interest as much as the game itself had, but, none the less, I found it still to be interesting. It sorta surprised me really when I saw it, but at the same time, it seemed prefectly rational, know what I'm sayen?

So basically the point of this ''review'' is him *****ing about how this game is unrealistic and unchristian? Since when did religion come into to play with Video games? Most gamers I know are atheist or agnostic.

I've followed the development of Spore basically since it was announced at E3 05, but I'll admit, being someone that studies and cares about religion and my own lack of it, I was very surprised by their commercial for the game. I only heard it in the background as I was on my computer one day, but turned around just in time to hear something about "Creavolutionism?" and I was like..."lol wut?"

I saw the commercial in full a few days later and as soon as it was over, I knew "This game...is already going to be so controversial...and that commercial just dug it's propaganda grave."

I mean, I love the game, I got it a few days ago and it's awesome. But I can definitely see where people would freak out. I mean, any Christian that's n "extremist", as the person who posted this put it, is going to allow their beliefs to control every part of their lives. I'm not surprised the review wasn't longer and didn't end in "And that's why the liberal media is destroying this country with support of Abortion. SATAN REVENGE BABIES? NO THANKS. I give Jesus a 543897259083475897/10."

By the way, while I'm posting, I'd like to point out that extremist Christianity and stupid bigotry are 2 different things. Extremists want SO badly to push their beliefs on others that they're willing to kill or die for the progression of the christian faith. These are the sorts of people that you hear about on the news that blow up abortion clinics or cut off their own hands because they think they're being possessed. Stupid bigots, like the one who wrote the review, are blinded men who's strong faith does not allow for even the possibility of Evolution or Atheism existing anywhere but Hell. This person is scared of the game, it's obvious that he's FRIGHTENED. If he turns that fear into Anger and goes to murder Game Developers...yeah he'd be an extremist. But right now I'm actually feeling sorry for him, he's clearly a monkey with no sense of value or self-worth, no free thought or ability to comprehend anything beyond God. I pity those people.

 

and as for that, I honostly have to say, I hate christian extremists. I am perfectly alrite with christians, but I hate people who always think they are right about EVERYTHING. Though I do know I get like that some times, I still hate it when people like christian extremists get involved in other matters and say the purest of bull, when everyone knows that it isn't true.....

Not that I have anyone who believes strongly in there religion. I just don't like it when they believe that there can't be any other possibilities as well.....

 

So true! Besides, in Spore Creatures can have religions. In the Space Stage there are two religious groups: Zealots and Shamans

Zealots are kinda like the Crusaders, in how they try to spread the word of Spode (tahts the name of there God, I think that its spelled like that or something like that) and kill anyone who does not see their faith as they do.

Shamans I guess are like Buddists or hippies, in which they believe every life form in the Galaxy(sp) is connected and one couldn't exist with out the other.

In all truth though, I can't wait for the multiplayer version which they said they were already thinking up. They said it themselves in an interveiw that it wuold be a shame to waste a game like this and not have a multiplayer.

I mean, haven multiplayer would be pretty dam fun, dontcha think?



Lol. As for the religious ones though, I think that would only piss off the religion dudes even more because they would start saying "Why isn't there a christian religion?", and "Does that mean you are saying that we are stupid for believing in one God?", or some bull like that ^_^

 

Mutiplayer would be fun, but what if someone isn't online? What would happen to their creature? It would suck if they go to bed and wake up to fine someone blown up their homeworld.

I have no problem with religion in the game. I think its pretty fun idea. But some atheists have a problem with religion being in the game, which is odd.

 

Ummmm, maybe their planet dissapears? Idk, some sort of a cloud or somethen?

Also, I don't think it would be that simple as to just blow up a planet. I think certain measures would have to be take in order to blow up a planet first. Or maybe you could bring some of ur creatures to that planet, and try and destroy it. Maybe even.......OH ****! What if you could attack by bringing Epic Creatures to peoples planets O_O (For those who don't know, epic creatures are giant creatures that take a LONG time to kill)


Dam athiests. I mean, I aint a specific christian religion person, but I still believe in God and go by my own thing. I don't see why there would be a problem.

And also I plan on going with a religious tactic, cuz I'm gonna be maken a spider like creature (I need a graphics card, so I have barely been able to play it. Played it at a friends house though), so I plan on befriending everyone, and then just destroyen all the tribes that are weaker then me ^_^ (I know it is cruel, but that is what a spider would do, wouldnt it?)

Now if you excuse me, I am going to attempt to play spore, even if my current graphics card does suck. I wanna see what happens
