KH Days might qualify here. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but it was disappointing. We were expecting interaction with the Organisation, and to have secrets revealed. Turns out we get half a game of filler missions, and half a game of Roxas trying to get along with a new character. No reveal of the Organisation's secrets. So in that sense, Days was a disappointment.

Still fun to play. EXCEPT FOR THOSE EMERALD SERENADES

D: We did learn a few secrets with that game. Although some were also in Birth by Sleep, they were said in Days first.

    1. Axel's "somebody" name.
    2. Axel and Saix being friends when they were somebodies.
    3. Saix planning on betraying Xemnas once he and Axel found what was in Castle Oblivion.
    4. The possibility that more replicas like Replica Riku were made by Vexen(although they might have been failures or something and were destroyed/forgotten).
    5. Xigbar sees Xion as Ven. Although KH2 points out that he knew about other keybladers. <<

I'm sure there was more but I forgot. Still, I suppose only the last thing on the list was anything that really came into play in the story. Since everything else I said didn't really matter in the end. >> Once I think about it, I'm pretty sure the game was mainly around for fanservice since we all know Birth by Sleep is far more important overall. Overlord: Dark Legend - After playing the first Overlord game on my Uncle's PS3, lacking my own, I was psyched to hear there was one coming out for the Wii. I was expecting mind-boggling puzzles and hours of gameplay. I beat the game in 2 days, with no real challenge. It had potential to have a terrific storyline, but the ending was just terrible.

But that's the thing: It wasn't fanservicey in the slightest! We didn't get to see more of the Organisation at all. They lacked the charm they had in KH2. So really, it doesn't win on fanservice either.

Mostly, yeah. It was nice to have a lot of the organization information seen in one game instead of spreading it across multiple for us to piece together. I mean there were how many cutscenes building on just the Deep Dive battle? But if it was excluded from the series I think the only thing we miss is Xion, which was only made by Nomura to give Days a better plotline. I suspect they will make her existence important again later, but she was not part of the original plan for Kingdom Hearts.

This is where you're wrong. ^^ There's a little thing called multiplayer. Those annoying fans People can make a team of their favorite Organization members even if it doesn't make sense to have them together. Still...I guess you're right in your own way since we didn't see too much of the other members in the story mode. <<

And to continue on topic, since I recently beat another game, I think Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1(The game) was rather disappointing. I'm a huge fan and while the graphics were rather impressive for a Harry Potter game I thought that the gameplay itself tried to force the game to act like a third person shooter. It had its fun moments but I'm not sure I can find myself going back to play it now. <<

EDIT: Mixt is right about Xion. Although I rather hope she doesn't become very important. While I like Xion I'm not sure how I'd feel if Nomura brought her back "from the grave" so-to-speak.

Ah. I considered the multiplayer mode to be a complete disappointment due to how difficult it was to kill things, and how most of the characters were borderline unplayable, so I didn't count it.

Infinite Undiscovery- My cousin convinced me to get it because it "looked just like Tales of Symphonia". Sure, the game also had a cooking system. Somewhat. Yes, the style of combat was free like Symphonia. Kind of. The story was decent with plot twists. The characters were interesting. But combat gets kind of dull and repetitive. And the dungeons. My god, the dungeons. Yes, it does make it a whole lot harder to get to the save point in the middle of the dungeon so as not to die, but oh the absolute rage when it happens and needing the time to start all over again. The map system was also annoying, since there no actual established maps, you had to map out the area yourself. Exploration? Yeah, but it sucks for people with minor OCD such as myself, where I don't really feel complete if there's a gaping hole in the map. Finally, item creation, which is the "cooking" system. It's actually kind of fun. Reminds me of Rikku's customization in FFX. Which also comes with annoyance whenever you run out of a material to use. Which is further frustrating when a character "fails" in creating a new item, wasting any rare ingredients used.

Don't buy this game unless it's less than $40. Even though I won't admit it to my cousin or my dad, that game was a waste of 40 some dollars.

    This one is too obvious:

FFXIV: Tried it for free on PC, it sucks, no need to explain why, just go see yourself, no wonder why the PS3 version was delayed, I hope the PS3 version will be better................I hope.........................

Hopefully the team behind FFXIV puts more effort towards the game for it's delay, and of course for their upcoming projects as well. I've played both mmo's: 11 and 14 - and yea I hope for the best this time around.
