Surprised, the guards flinched from the dough and unexpected detonation. Blinking, they recovered from the blast and looked towards their fleeing target. Single file, the chased after Mixt, using eachother to reduce drag.

Gendran looked up at Fiachra, craning his head slowly upward to look into her face. He was startled by her sudden appearance, but he would make sure that she'd never know that. "Hey" he said softly. "You feel any better?"

 

Fiachra nodded. "Yeah, you?" She sat down next to him. "How long will testing go on?"

 

Aly twitched slightly, then turned her head, eyes scanning the woods. She sniffed, then smiled, and headed deeper into them, her speed picking up. Snarling, she tackled a deer, broke its back with a loud crack, and began to drink, the scarlett liquid dripping down her throat.

 

Gendran shrugged.

"They should be done by the end of the day. However, you can't be too sure of that. Science is a very fickle beast."

 

"Also, a very annoying one that spurs know-it-all scienctists." Fiachra joked.

OOC: Can we move it on to then? Fiachra did sleep for afew hours.

Fiachra stood up again. "Any chance of me actually going outside?"

 

"Not a chance." said Gendran shaking his head.

"This whole area is walled off. Think of it as a mole mansion."

 

Fiachra sighed. "They should at least thought about making a area where I could fly around outside. Not flying for ages is like not walking for ages. They suck when you try and you have to sorta, re-learn how to."

 

Aly tilted her head, keeping an eye on the humans as she skirted their camp. No wonder they had nightmares, watches, felt wary in the dark. They had to fear and feed creatures like her. She smiled, showing pointed canines, then silently moved toward a group of caves.

 

It didn't take long for the design Mixt was using to start streamlining. The detonations from the decoys were less intense (meaning they were more stable) and the decoys looked more and more realistic each time.

 

Slowly, Gendran stood up, snapping and cracking from stiffness.

"Sorry Fiachra, but they don't really care around here.

Suddenly, he heard explosions down a hallway.

"What was that?

 

Fiachra brought out her wings and grabbed Gendran, flying off towards the explosion. "I don't know... But we're gonna find out!!!"

 

Slowly settling into the back of the caves, Aly let her goldenish eyes glow in the faint light, watching the entrance. No one had followed her this time....good. She closed her eyes, letting one tear, just one, make a small glistening trail down her face, then she slowly dozed off, to nightmares of blood and death.

Walking through slushy puddles of melting snow, Envy wondered to the outer parts of the city, where it was said that more Dark Angels lurked. He knew most of them wouldn't come out until nighttime, so he would be all right until at least 7 p.m. He continued to walk as he felt the ear the device was STILL attached to. Damn dark angel...

 

OOC: My char is in some caves, and Legion, Mixt, and Rhion are.....in an underground base?

BIC: Watching the sun, Aly narrowed her eyes, scooting farther back. She didn't care for it, didn't want it. Retreating inside her mind, she went to the memories she had, the ones that were few and far in between.

 

Gendran nodded, looking up at firachra.

"Ladies first."

Bowing, The man took a step back, letting the dark angel proceed.

 

Fiachra flew off fast, passing over scienctist's heads. They were all taking off their masks and staring at her flying. They had obviosly never seen A Dark Angel fly before.
