Kingdom Hearts II more "special weapons

we see that in kingdom hearts the keyblade is a weapon that chooses its weilder in order to do certain things. But are there more weapons like that? After seeing all of org13's weapons it really makes me wonder if their somebodies controlled some sort of special weapon as well...this might be a plot hole...but their abilities cant just pop up from no where...right?

 

Yeah... I think Merlin said special weapons will choose thier own wielder... I thought it was an excalibur reference, but it could mean more.

 

I think that their weapons come into existence when they become nobodies, and respond to their command. The weapon is sort of part of them.

 

which was probably why when their weapon was destroyed, they get all freaked out. demyx for example.

 

well Sora was a keyblade bearer and same with Roxas.
But does that mean Demyx's somebody was a terrible fighter and musician?

 

There's also this theory that the element they have, "killed" them in the first place(whoa, did anybody get any of that?). Like with Axel, some say that he losed his heart during an accident by fire.
But it can also be the same thing as the keyblade. The weapon chose its wielder.

there might be some truth in that, unfortunately though demyx, zexion, and some of the older org members were scientists who lost their hearts to a bad experiment with darkness. And Xemnas' must be embarassing. He controls "nothingness"...did he die from "nothing?"
