No Thanks More space in the about me

I think it would be a great idea because alot of us have more to say about ourselves. If it could happen it would be great to have sub-sections on the about me like myspace. could we have about oh idk 10,000 letters. im not trying to be funny i'd like to type more

Idk about that. This isn't a social network like Myspace. If you want to meet people, then go to Myspace or facebook. Idk how much space the About Me has, I just put a short sentence and it fit.

 

A good 3 sentences as alright, even if it's something random, not 10,000 LETTERS thats outrageos.

yes, and besides few members (including myself) use the about me section seriously, and those who do can keep within the limit provided.

 

Don't you guys have anything better to do? Seriously, suggest something useful for once. Who the f*ck do you think reads the about me space? And if it's long, even less people who sit and read all that stuff. Just pointless! Can't you live without it? Or are you that much of a sissy and you want that ****** profile be perfect with all that details? Maybe we should add rainbows and ponies too.

What about more sections to be filled in? E.g. A name section. Yeah, we don't have one of them. Sound somewhat justified?

And Toshi, can you refrain from swearing at newbies? It can be rather daunting for them to suggest something to be met with something like your post.

 

I don't think it's necessary.
I would feel more comfortable telling only certain members things about me anyway.I don't like the idea of myspace/blog kind of thing.

Anyway, I think this idea's been rejected before, for many of the same reasons above^

I think if you want to get to know people you should chat with them through their visitor messages, pm's, user notes, even msn if you feel like having a long conversation.

 

Eh, it's not important. It's just kinda there to put in a random sentence or two about something...random.

Most people don't even talk about themselves. It's just like some little quote or something so it's not necessary to extend it.

 

I agree with LilBueno, it isn't a blog, but if you want more space to write about yourself, go and creat a blog, plus if they did creat a bigger about me space, i'm sure people ould abuse it, and host sites, and other stuff.
