"Actually..." Abbey shook her head. "Nevermind." She smiled to reassure Ange before heading back up the stairs. No one was in the lobby as they all seemed to stay in their rooms unless they were heading out. The moment she started to look around she heard thunder from outside. "Good thing we didn't go anywhere..."

 

Ange jumped slightly at the thunder and gripped harder on Abbey's arm. "Wow. Scary,eh? She laughed un-easily. Lightning was on of the many things she did not like, she looked behind at the windows and saw another flash of light come across the room and winced. "I hope it stops tomorrow" She said in a small voice.

 

"Um, n-not really...I...I was looking for something I dropped, but...I guess I must've dropped it awhile ago." Sam couldn't understand. She swore she had it before the accident. "Ah, it doesn't matter anymore. I'm Samantha." Tugging her white hood back a little she smiled up at him. "You...I swear we've met before. I wanna say...Risit?" She took a chance, if she was wrong she had an apology ready.

 

"Ah, it was a gold locket. My, uh, uncle gave it to me...but I doubt it's around. It must have been a dream. I'll bet it'll turn up someday." She brushed back her dark brown hair and felt rain drops drip onto her nose, "So Risit, don't you have a home out here, someplace out of the rain?" She was probably being nosy, but she couldn't help it.

 

"Bada-boomady bop bop, ba-bada boo ba, bop, bada~" Philps sang to himself, dancing around as he walked in the rain, wearing his old world headphones. Even from his own time period, they had been considered out of date, replaced by the new earphones that had been supplied with iPods.
The rain poured onto him relentlessly, but he hadn't a care in the world. The clear skies were nothing but normalcy, the average person's kind of weather, the one who didn't dare to dream.
"I wanna be, the very best, that no one ever was..." he sang lowly to himself, a song that by now had been forgotten in the times of crisis by most, surely. Noticably though, on the sides of his jeans by his legs were holsters for two large hand guns, which one wouldn't take notice to at first unless they truely had an eye for detail. His nature made them appear almost as if they had to be toys, a person of his lackadasical attitude unable to be capable of holding onto the real thing.

 

Amy nodded "Well, there is this place I found where I've been staying that we could go to. It's really not much at all but it's dry and out of the rain." She said, altering her direction slightly to head towards some buildings. She felt happier now she'd found someone she knew to talk to, despite being soaking wet.

 

"Awesome, lead on." He said, trying to ignore all the electricity crackling around his body. And that's just one disadvantage to being a human lightbulb, I can't even sit in a car without it blowing up, but with the current technology, I should be able to touch electrical appliances without them going BOOM in my face. Cole thought to himself.

 

"Are you okay?" Amy asked, as she noticed him crackling, "It's not far now" She went up some stairs on the outside of a building leading up to a door.

 

Sam smiled and pulled her hood to cover her face, "Hear what?" Turning on her heel she gestured to the apartment building she lived in, "No, I live, for the moment, there. Come on, you can stay with me." She started off, knowing he'd follow her. Though she was shorter than him, she held her head high, just like her uncle taught her.

Sam frowned, "People...like us... Ah, I just thought that since I seem to know you....and I'm not too worried. You may be bigger than me, but my Uncle made sure I had the best self defense training. Running the military and all, he taught me a number of things about weapons and self protection." She smiled underneath her hood and held the door open, "C'mon in. I haven't been living here all that long so there's nothing emarrassing. In fact, there's not much here that would even suggest I do live here at all." Glancing around her apartment she noticed just how empty it really was and sighed.

 

"Yeah....peachy." Cole muttered, following her up the stairs. The pain was getting worse but he tried his best to shrug it off.

 

Claudio entered the building. He was cold and sopping wet from the rain outside. He walked around the empty building and neared the stairs. He heard voices. He cautiously climbed the stairs and saw a group people standing there talking about something. They looked harmless enough. You can never be too careful in the city. He neared them. "Uh... Hello?" He paused waiting for a response.

 

Amy nodded, she could he was in pain and just wanted to get in as soon as possible. She reached the door and walked through into a corridor filled with doors with numbers on. She walked over to room number. 26, "This is my room" She quickly got out a small key and opened the door. "After you, I told you it wasn't much" The room was very plain, it had a single bed in one corner, a tiny kitchen in another corner and a sofa with a TV in the middle, as well as a little room next to the door that was the bathroom.

 

"Well, at least you have somewhere..." He muttered, looking around the room.

 

Sora heard Claudio suprised to find someone else in the building "Yeah, I'm over here"
