Mon Amour

Janine threw her alarm clock, yawning. She looked at her cell-phone, ready to call Jamie to check up on her. She dialed the number and got up, getting her school clothes set out. She got a beep...
"Hey Jamie, it's Janine.. call me back when you get this message, unless you're working too hard... See ya at school," she said, then hung up, putting it in her outfit pocket. She slid her clothes on, stretching, and straightning her hair. She put her berrie on. She then headed out the door with her books and got to her car, driving onto school.

 

He got cleaned up and dressed, grabbing his things. He then headed to school in his car.

 

Janine got to the school, surprised to see Jamie wasn't there. She got out of her car then headed into the school to class.

 

Greg arrived and went to class, hoping Jamie would be there soon.

 

Janine went to her class, taking in a deep breath and getting out her homework, worrying about Jamie. She hadn't called her back.

 

Greg was worried about her as he took his seat.

 

She waited for the bell to ring to see if Greg saw her.

 

The bell rang and Greg got up and got his things. He took out his phone and dialed Jamie's cell number.

 

Seth walked up to Janine and Greg "so I guess you guys don't know where Jamie is either" Seth said to Janine as he saw Greg on the phone

 

Janine shrugged after meeting up.
"No..." she said frowning...

 

He listened to it ring as he waited for her to pick up.

 

Janine sighed, then heard Jamie's phone... She dug around her purse, seeing it. She couldn't think of how it got in her purse. Something was wrong. She had it on the way home.
"Jamie..." she said, softly.

 

"I'm going to her work." he said, putting his phone away and leaving.

 

Achara skipped school that day. She felt the worst she had in ages. She decided to get up and go grocery shopping. She had to do something today, after all.

 

Janine's cell phone rang.
"Hold on Greg!" she called, following after him. She answered her phone, hearing screaming and crying. Her heart sank.
"Jamie! Jamie where are you?!" she called. She pushed the speakerphone.
"He's going to kill me!" she cried... then the phone line dropped....
Janine's trembled, almost wanting to pass out, but she was stronger than that...
"Jamie?" she asked into the phone...

 

"What's going on?" he asked, worried.

 

Seth looked at Janine "what happened" Seth said looking very serious

 

Achara grabbed her cell, her wallet, and walked out the door. She stopped by the school entrance. She could still go....

 

Jamie ran through the dark alleyway. Her clothes shredded, and the footsteps following her. She was crying, and scared to death. She ran into the street, getting no service on the phone she stole from the guy chasing her.
She dialed Janine's number. Once picked up.
"Janine! Come get me at 8th street!" she called.

Janine heard the call and put it on speaker, hearing her yell to come get her.

 

"Let's go." Greg said, getting to his car.
