I visited the site on my phone yesterday and I couldn't find any option for a mobile version. I checked the skins available but there only seemed to be two choices.
KH-Vids 8.0 is a Responsive style and will move to fit the resolution of your phone, making a Mobile style obsolete.
Is it possible then to disable images loading on the page? It would make loading the site much quicker.
Not to my knowledge, no. Depending on your Browser/OS, you could be able to get a mobile version of adblock, which may make the page load a little bit faster, however KHV relies on ad revenue to keep running so if you could refrain from doing that we would appreciate it. If the ads are affecting the load time of the page though, it would be understandable.
It's not really the advertisements which are causing me a hassle. It's when I scroll through a page, because of people's signatures there tends to be some lag.
I think you may be able to designate separate preferences depending on the device you're using? Idk, I remember something about that in the settings. May be worth looking into.
I just decided to disable images on my mobile browser. I had to keep changing my preferences every time I logged on through my PC but yeh, a method to have different preferences other devices would be useful.
I can set up an additional check box to hide signatures only on most mobile browsers. They should already hide when you're browsing on most mobile phones, but larger phone screens, tablets, or a simple landscape view might trigger them. I'll do it tomorrow prob (at work rn).
