Mirror to Dreams

"Something came and took Yuki!" The girl said, shaking. "It was like a giant shadow!"

Raven's eyes widened. "Oh no..."

 

"Where?" Lavara asked, trying hard to stay calm.

OOC: my mom needs to take a test. cya guys tomorrow

 

Aiko covered her mouth when she heard that. This isn't good... She thought and glanced over at Raven. She was right... maybe we shouldn't have come to this school...

 

OOC: v.v fine leave us

BIC: "It just melted into the wall! I couldn't do anything!" The girl started crying.


"Get to your dorm." Raven instructed. "You'll be safer."

The girl nodded. She picked up her own bag and hurried off to her dorm.

"That's one." Raven sighed.

 

OOC: no guilt tripping RG, it works too well. haha

BIC: "We need to tell the headmaster." Lavara said firmly. "Now a girl is gone and we can't be everywhere at once."

 

"But what if he makes Aiko and I leave?" Raven voiced her thoughts.

 

"Then I guess you'll have to stay here behind his back or leave." Lavara said, matter of factly. "I hope that you would choose the former but I don't think you'll have to make that choice. And don't you think girl's lives are rather more important than what ifing?"

 

Raven nodded. "He'll surely throw us out if he finds out we're twins." She looked at Aiko and then back at Lavara. "Aiko and I will go."

 

Lavara was about to argue but she closed her mouth and nodded. "What should I do while you guys are telling him?"

 

"Try to find some more information on the school. Blueprints would be nice. We need to know the grounds pretty well if we're going to stand a chance against these things. After all, they've been here a hell of a lot longer than we have. We'l be back soon." Raven said. She took Aiko's hand and walked out of the library, passing Takeshi on the way. How long was he there? Did he hear anything? She shook it off and kept walking.

 

Takeshi waited until the coast was clear before following them,making sure it looked like a mere coincidence.

 

"Okay, will do. I'll see ya back in the library." Lavara said, turning to go back to the library. On the way she pulled out the diary she had dropped in her bag and started reading while she walked. Wow, this is odd, it's like it was written by... hm, the last twins here? Or... or, I don't know...

 

Raven gently squeezed Aiko's hand. "I'll talk if you want." She hastened her pace, wanting to get it over with. Once at the principal's office, she knocked on the door.

"It's open." Came a voice from inside.

 

Lavara set the book down, upside down and open so the place was saved, next to a computer and searched blue prints to start with. While the computer searched she picked up the pile of books that she had gotten last time and put them next to the comp. as well.

 

Raven entered the headmaster's office and went to his desk. "Sir, I've got to tell you something."

The headmaster put his papers to the side of his desk. "Make this quick. I'm very busy."

"Just a moment ago, a girl was taken away by..." Raven trailed off.

"Well, Miss Tsuki?" The headmaster gently urged.

"A shadow." Raven finished.

"A shadow? Is this some kind of joke? Young lady, I have no time for this foolishness. Please leave." The headmaster said.

Raven sighed quietly. "Yes sir." She left.

The headmaster watched them go. So I was right. They are twins.

 

Lavara found a link with a good floor plan of the school and printed it out. While it was printing she looked for more information in the pile of books.

 

"Why didn't he believe me...?" Raven asked, not really speaking to Aiko. "How could he take that as a joke? Or does he already know and is trying to cover up? But if he did know, then why didn't he send us away? Or maybe he wants us here... What if he's some evil headmaster bent on ruling the world with his army of evil shadows?!"

 

Aiko sighed, glad that they were out of there. She turned to Raven. "Relax..." She said, gently squeezing her sister's hand. "I'm sure there was a reason he didn't send us away... But for now, just be grateful for it..." She smiled gently, but a million thoughts were running through her head. She's right, though... Why didn't he send us away? I doubt he's an evil headmaster, but...

 

Raven sweatdropped. "Sorry." She looked ahead. "I guess he just still doesn't know we're twins."

 

Lavara paced the room, reading a chaper in one of the books about the 'mysterious' happenings at the school. After a few minutes she tossed it on to the pile of books she had already looked through. Examining teh blueprints, she marked off in pencil the places that the books had mentioned for girls being taken and where they had already been attacked. They all clustered around the girl's dorms and restrooms, which wasn't surprising but good to know. She picked through the books she had read, setting aside onces she wanted look through again and putting the other ones back. This is insane, I hope the headmaster plans to do something about this. He'll have to. she smiled, going back to reread the books.
