Mirror to Dreams

Lavara laughed, "Alright, so what's your power like, Akio, I haven't seen yet."

 

"I can control....what were my powers Raven? I keep forgetting somehow..." Aiko sighed. She tried to remember.

 

Lavara kept a blank face and waited. Jeez, what's wrong with her? 'hope she pulls herself together soon.

 

OOC: CRAP! she's offline!

"Nevermind! I remember! I have some Earth powers,like I can make flowers, plants, venomous plants, and I can revive dead plants...I have other powers but Raven won't tell me what they are. She says they are too dangerous too use. We both have the same powers...woops." She sighed.

 

Lavara nodded, interested, "That's cool. Family members sometimes do have the same powers." she quickly made up, so they didn't get paranoid about their secret.

 

Aiko nodded. 'Does she already know....if she tells somebody else...we're screwed.' Someone knocked at the door. Aiko stared at the door. "W-who is it?!" she quivered.

 

Lavara smiled at Akio reassuringly and got up to open the door, "Hello?"

 

There was nothing at the door.

"I have a bad feeling about this....maybe you shouldn't have opened the door..."

There was a musty odor around the room.

"What's that awful smell??!!" Aiko could barely breath. She held Raven's hand.

 

Lavara looked around the hall way out of the door. "Hello?" she called, knowing nothing was there but she had decided that if they couldn't keep a cool head, she'd have to. Closing the door she put her hand over her nose, "I don't know what it is, but let's go up to one of the dorms."

 

Aiko nodded vigorously. She and Raven went out of the room and started coughing like mad. "That was the most horribly smell I have ever smelled in my life. They headed to the dorms.

 

"There, those are the rooms." Lavara said, heading up the stairs, "You can come into my dorm."

 

"Okay" Aiko and Raven went into the dorm. But Aiko had a horrible feeling that she and Raven were being followed.

 

Lavara closed the door, turned on the light, and sat on her bed. "I think we're going to have alot to tell the headmaster tomorrow." she rubbed her neck, "Weird place, it's pretty cool, huh?"

 

Aiko nodded. "Yeah...cool...and weird...........and scary." Aiko closed the door and locked it. "I hate monsters coming in when you least expect it."

 

"I've never seen a real monster." Lavara said, absently, "I think it would be intersting."

 

"Yeah....for you....I get scared out of my wits!!!" Aiko shuddered.

 

"Hey, no worries, okay? Three vs whatever comes at us, I think we're good." Lavara whistled two short, low notes and the lights in the room went up as it got darker outside. "There, less spooky now."

 

Aiko nodded gleefully. She yawned. "Does anything riing to announce dinner or something??" Aiko asked.

 

"No idea, but we could check down in the gathering hall, I know how to get to that, at least, from here."

 

Aiko's stomach growled. "I think we should see if they are eating....Raven you hungry?"
