Minority Ships

Do you read or write fanfiction? Do you get attached to characters easily? Do you have your own secret wishes for certain characters to end up together? Are you a minority shipper??? Post your favorite minority ships here (e.g, Roxas/Olette, Sora/Selphie...), and say why. Who knows--you might convert others to your cause!

My minority ship: Kairi/Riku. Wow, that's old-school. Keep the old-school love alive!

Why: I'm a sucker for tragic characters. I like to hope that they will end up happy in the end. Ever since KHI, I have secretly hoped for Riku to end up with Kairi, just because he sacrificed so much for her. He seems to understand her feelings more than Sora does, because Sora is just so happy--all the time.

As a fanfiction author, I also like writing Kairiku stories because they are so much less fluffy that SoKai. Kairiku stories give more opportunities for angst and tragedy...which I like. *sheepish grin*

Downside: Well, of course, if you write Kairiku, the problem of what to do with Sora always arises... Most stories I've seen just kill him off, but I always feel guilty. *wince* ut hey, what are you going to do?

This feels almost like show and tell, Random...

My minority ship is... Hayner/Olette (Haynette)

WHY?

Well, because if one thinks about it logically, Hayner, Pence, and Olette are the only NON-MAIN, NON-VILLAIN, NON-DISNEY, and NON-FINAL FANTASTY, COMPLETELY ORIGINAL characters in the WHOLE GAME!! So that means they're important. :D And 'Haynette' has a good word-smush. :P BUT OTHER THAN THAT... I support Haynette over Roxette for the simple reason that I am a FIRMLY CANONICAL SHIPPER (meaning that MUST be references to such a ship POSSIBLY happening in the game itself... Random knows this very well.)

Why couldn't Roxette work? Well, it COULD in the alternate Twilight Town, but in the REAL Twilight Town... Olette never has, and probably never will meet Roxas. HOWEVER... she is close friends with Hayner. And this is also me being a huge ROXAS/NAMINE fan, as well... so I refuse to write Roxy with anyone other than Nami. :D But I can't discuss Roxy/Nami here, as this is minority ships, and Roxy/Nami's pretty gererally accepted.

AND SOMETHING RANDOM FORGOT TO MENTION... please no fighting, here, people! If should should disagree with my reasons for Haynette, or Random's for KaiRiku, just say so. I DON'T WANT " 'ship fighting".

ex. "SoKai is SO MUCH better than KaiRiku, you bleeding heart liberal!" (even though that may be what I'm thinking, I didn't say it... oh wait... I just did... :P)
