MineCraft 1.8 Adventure Update

Then that's the most stupid update. I don't want to have to go kill stuff to survive. And what if we play on peaceful? Does it go down then?

 

Mm-hmm, but yeah it's pretty easy to get food, because almost litterally everything drops.

 

I don't think the food meter goes down on Peaceful, that's what I'm currently on until I get sufficient supplies.

Also, yeah, biomes are larger, and oceans are sometimes incredibly deep. Atlantis mod FTW

Not sure. I was just walking along and I noticed him up there, trapped between wood and leaves.

Is there any idea as to what leveling up will do?

 

I'm guessing it'll increase HP, strength, etc. Those kinds of things.

 

What about levels needed to wear certain armor?

 

Well, I don't know about that. It sounds like it could happen though.

 

I sort of doubt this will happen.
I think leveling up will simply increase attack and such, like Assassin said.

 

Did they ever put in pistons or is that still a mod?

 

They put in pistons in the 1.7 update.

 

Has anyone mentioned the 3D pig snouts? I like those.

Also, Silverfish. Seen them in the Yogscast. Nasty little buggers. They keep spawning near each other as long as one is alive still, I believe.

Don't think they've been mentioned; not sure though.

EDIT: New menu is sexy. I also like the new Mojang logo better.

And guarding with swords?​

Menu is amazing, yes. Fuzzy landscape in the background? Yes.
Guarding with swords? Could you explain? I'm a sword user on Minecraft, which is stressful sometimes, and that'd be amazing.

 

I love the menu, but I never heard of Silverfish.

I don't know much about the guarding with the sword but there is a guard animation. Which there also is an eating animation for when you eat anything raw or not. Does this mean you can't spam food anymore?

You have to hold the right click to eat all the way.
