Mind if I just rant?

this is a thread for just ranting about how you feel. I don't encourage replying to the rants, cause that doesn't raelly get anywhere, unless it leads to a good conversation.

Ranting can be about anything, but today's topic is the RP section..

First. I get really annoyed with people who join random roleplays and just don't post. I'm in quite a few and on every last page I bet you can find a post by me. ONLY because people don't post. Which is getting me bored and not wanting to come on this site anymore. The reason I came on was to roleplay, but when people don't roleplay, i get too bored.

If you join, then actually roleplay!

second that bothers me when it's the creator of a thread. The creator makes the thread and then just don't post after there's enough to start. I've posted in a couple to join, but the creator isn't on so I can't join.
If you start a thread either let the jurisdiction go to someone else. Please!


third, I'm kind of annoyed with the whole RP Sample. I mean, if most good roleplayers ask for RP Samples then all the bad roleplayers will end up roleplaying with bad roleplayers. I really don't want to play with members that use one liners as post though I may do it a couple times, but usually I'm pretty good about it. Usually if I do one-liners it means I'm stuck and can't think of anything because of the first thing I ranted about.

I just want to play and having there be requirements there just bothers me. It's a good idea to have people play with the correct personalities but I still would like to play.

I almost want to suggest a "dedicated members" category in which players that will come onto the site can post so that roleplays can continue smoothly.

Boring stories. One line posts. No character development at all, nothing interesting going on whatsoever.

You missed off no originality. All original stuff gets ignored because they don't feel like reading more than two paragraphs.

It sucks since it used to be better but what can you do, people came and killed the section leaving those who do make decent roleplays to get knocked back a few pages by the amount of crap that gets posted. Not really different from many other sections >_>

But seriously, even i'm losing the point of roleplaying with the **** that's been posted recently and how things turn from magic and knights into a cybering party.

 

I just want to decently roleplay

 

Then make a decent roleplay. Then make sure no one liners **** it up.

There are some decent rps in there, I am sure, but you have to wade around to find them. I lost interest in it some time ago though. Some of the rps though in there are not my thing..
