Miley Cyrus sued for $4 billion over a slant-eyed photograph

I dought the women is sewing MC just to end her music career, it sound like the women just want money. If she find this offended she better not have the internet at all, the women need to get a life.

 

idk why she's sueing, but i heard all the asian residences in california, is getting $4,000, EACH if the lawsuit goes through.

 

That is the stupidest thing i have ever heard of. If Miley was a racist, then she would have done other things, than just "slanting her eyes", and there is another person in that picture that is doing the exact same thing, people are just stupid.

 

the person suing is obviously just out for money. $4 billion dollars in damage? that's pretty excessive, even IF emotional damage can be measured in money, it is STILL excessive. it was obviously just a joke and shouldn't be taken too seriously.

also, alot of people say in this thread not to take racism seriously. i agree in this case because it is obviously a joke. but in other situations, you can take it seriously if you want and you do NOT have to take it if someone is using racial slurs against you (unless if it's with people you know and it's sort of agreed that it's ok).

 

This is just pathetic. To sue someone for a picture for slanting her eyes when others did and there is an Asian even in the picture who doesn't seem to care. Maybe they should consider the context of the picture because obviously that guy had no problems with it. People getting offended here don't deserve money. If you are that upset, don't buy her records etc. Really, some people will gripe and do anything to win money. lol .. just stupid.

 

Exactly. it's not as if she exhibited any REALLY racist sentiment... like (don't kill me, just an example) blacks belong in cotton fields, or some such. She DIDN'T say that or anything similar, she just made a stupid kid joke, which, no matter how unfairly famous she may be, she should still deserve to do. She deserves to live as a normal (what age is she? Teenager? preteen?) kid.

Ok it was a really ****ing stupid thing of her to do, and whilst she is just a kid pulling a face, when you do live in that type of world you do have to be aware of every action because you never know how it will bite you on the ass.

I personally cannot stand the girl, but this is just messed up.

The only reason such a massive deal is being made out of this is because of who she is.

 

basically, the woman has looked at her, it has registered in her - obviously very bored and money orientated - brain that someone could take this into offense. and Miley has alot of money. the whole thing was blown up because:
a) she has money.
b) her dad has money.
c) she has money.
d) she is famous....she has money.

This completely unfair on miley cyrus.What the woman said above was infuriating, she seemed to think that miley shouldn't have an entitlement to what normal people do just because it might reach the media.Miley cyrus is entitled to do what she wants in her own private time and it's no one's business but her own.I can almost guarantee that everyone who see's this post right now will have made the slanted eye's thing at least once and you don't see any of us getting caught for about $4,000,000,000.
It's completely unfair that people keep doing this to her.

 

First off i think that Miley is possibly the worst role model ever for kids.... Rumor has it that she already has a contract with playboy that goes into effect on her 18th birthday.. she is totally the next Spears and she will fall hard when she finally takes things too far. Sure its lame that she is being sued over that picture especially when 1 other person was doing the same thing. if she is being sued then that kid should also have to cover the cost of the 4 billion. i dont agree with the law suit but i defiantly dont like her.

 

i agree with the tana panda here; almost all the teen idols around nowadays arent that great, just do what theyre told, and dont even have proper ideals of their own. its best of kids stick with the best people they have in their lives to look up to: parents. :D

 

tanda and baggins, what gives you the right to judge her when you don't even know her.To judge someone you have to really know a person as themselves not just judging because of her actions.She has the right to do all those things if she want's to and she does have a contract with playboy.
How many other girls have done the same? millions. I don't care what any of you say, she's entitled to do what she wants without worry that the media will see it. She's a girl, not a statue. She's a person with feelings and she most have serious emotional stress beyond anyones so for once could everyone leave her alone.

Things are getting out of hand across the world recently. Who hasnt slanted their eyes with their fingers before O.O, jeeez. And 4 billion is ridiculous! I can see how they could also find it insulting but wateva, I love asian peeps my partner is Filipino. Anywayy I think they just found it and decided they could make an uproar she is rich and now so are they. Anyone will find anything on another person especially a celeb to gain either fame or money it is saddening.

 

What the hell? It's just a photo. All of the people I know, and MILLIONS of other people have done that slant-eyed face tons of times in the past, so why the heck is one photo of Miley doing this being boosted up by the media?

She's only 16 years old, she should be expected to live a little!

 

She doesn't impress me much, but that she can sue them for that much is sad. I mean, who even cares if the picture looks like that. Wonder what mistake she will make next....

 

did the people who are sueing, maybe think that they weren't ment to see the picture, because that is stupid to sue for and demand so much money......
