Is that even her? Also, there is a person of Asian descent in the photo who doesn't seem to have a problem with it. It sounds like some woman who is so far up her own ass that she has nothing better to do than be offended for other people. Those kind of people sicken and disgust me.

Okay, I wasn't impressed by Miley's photo, but whoever sued her is obviously in for the WTF $4 BILLION. Lol, greed.

 

It is $4000 for every person of Pacific Islander descent, the woman isn't asking for anything herself.

I refer you to my above statement. It's a JOKE. GET OVER IT. It's gonna happen. Every time some race is different from the majority, it WILL get parodied. As long as no harm is meant, I see no problem with it.

 

It is offensive to some Asians, but being sued 4 billion for that is going a bit overboard.

 

Every schoolchild in America has done it at some point or another. It means NOTHING. All it is is another case of media and PC overreaction.

 

Okay, for starters, I just wanna say that I have nothing against the girl, so this is a non-based opinion.

What she did was most likely a simple and stupid act that had no real insult to any specific race. I think that what she did was just what plenty of other kids her age do every day. They make stupid comments, racial included. This gesture was nothing more than just that. The lawsuit will not go through and all this was was a simple screw up. Not all celebrities can be perfect. This is not an uncommon thing to happen.

 

If ANY celebrities were perfect, the tabloids would be out of business. But I digress. I wholeheartedly agree.

In any case, racism has become way too inflated these days. In my opinion, it's a reason for tons of different native groups to start getting butthurt and taking offense to the smallest of innuendoes and gestures. I've also done that face, and nobody's seemed to care. I get called racial insults also(due to my alleged "facial similarities"), but would I get anywhere if I started taking serious action against it? Obviously not.
Im pretty sure I've seen other celebrities make that face in the past, it shouldn't make a difference if it's Miley Cyrus or not.
