I like it, but it needs more of a light source being shown on the sig it's self rather than light suddeningly coming out of nowhere and hitting the render, you know what I mean? If you had something like that, it would be nearly perfect.

lol I was thinking more of the light source coming from above, but this works, too.

EDIT: Also, the background seems in some need of some grunge brushes, but that's only optional.

Great stock, but the signature isn't that good. It's too dark and very basic. Effects would make it alot better and if you unshaded the person's face.

There's a difference between a plain sig and a sig that doesn't have enough time and effort put into it. Version one is much better than version two; in version two, the light is in the wrong place (it should be where the light is hitting the stock -- in this case, from the top) and it looks a lot more low quality than version one. I'm all for simplicity, but this one, like I said before, doesn't have enough time and effort put into it. if you don't mind me asking, how long does it usually take you to do a sig? The stock placement is a little too centered for my tastes, as it appears as though in this sig the focal point was supposed to be the guitar. the text isn't terrible, but I don't like the placement or the color. Lowering the opacity or changing the blend mode of your text is not enough blending. The same goes for the stock.

I tried to give some good CnC considering its taken a serious decline lately. Everyone, posting "I like this 10/10" isn't enough! Make your posts meatier!

I like Version Two better; the light should've been coming from above the dude's head rather than below.

Other than that I like it; It rocks!

FINALLY GOOD CNC!!!! Thanks Misty I really was trying to do something different on this sig but the problem was that I couldn't get my ideas to come alive I've been doing this for a while and I basically am better than most the people here(Well, in my opinion and no disrespect to any other people) You should get back into making sigs btw misty they were sick!

As for how long it takes to make a sig?

    Usually 2 to 3 hours

This one was a quicky which was only a half an hour

xD thanks. I've been trying to make one lately, but inspiration just hasn't hit. I'm getting rusty.

But it definitely seems like you're trying to put time into [most of] your sigs -- that's probably why this one wasn't on the same level as most of your other works. What would help me find new effects, styles, methods, practice with tools, etc, would to be just opening a canvas and trying a bunch of things on it for an hour or two. Then, when you feel comfortable with some of the new effects you've discovered, make a sig as you normally would, then apply the new effects. And I know I sound trite, but read tutorials.
