    Call, Beck's female partner, now has an official appearance. Sadly, it's a little too close to Roll but I still like the design. Oh and the official site mightyno9.com is up. It's been up for awhile so if you want to follow this game closely, that's where you should go.

    Oh right. I knew I was forgetting to post something here. First thing I saw this morning on Kotaku. I was hoping Beck would look a little...taller. Like X does in later sequels. Oh well, at least it seems there'll be some wall climbing of some sort! I'd really hate to see the series regress back to the original Megaman's level of movement(X series master race).

    Yeah, as you said, early footage isn't good to judge looks on. I can almost guarantee that the devs will throw a shader onto the models and such, which will permit the graphics to give a style more reminiscent of 2.5D artwork.

    In my mind, Might No. 9's final graphics will look something like Guilty Gear Xrd, which I'm loving the style of personally.

    Hey look! It's the actual alpha(not exactly the same alpha us Westerners would call an alpha since this is earlier than what we'd call an alpha) footage played by Inafune!



    So there's a dash and air dash. Both of which are used to steal weapons/abilities from stunned enemies. Shot, dash, grab. So happy this is taking one of the best elements of Megaman X. Dashing was so much better than sliding. And now it serves for another use! It was only until X8 that dashing in the air became a standard. Now we get to start with it here! So excited.

    Oh Inafune. You're the best. I didn't know there was more to be seen from that alpha. Hanging off a ledge seems neat but I wonder if there'll be wall climbing like in the X/Zero/ZX series or if that'll be an ability you steal from an enemy to go along with Beck's transformation powers. Still, the death animation looks pretty explodey. I like it.

    This seems like a perfect fusion of every MegaMan incarnate, outside of Legends, to honor them all equally while successfully really being its own thing because of all that.

    I never really played Megaman too often I did play it but not just as often as people would have expected my attention was more directed towards sonic games at the time but I might just buy this I watched the early play testing video it looks really cool. it's nothing special itself but it looks really nice. I love the MC animation in the video.

    Some new gameplay mechanics seem to be confirmed through this video. It seems that Beck can not climb walls like X or Zero could in the Mega Man X series but maps seem to be designed around the new ledge climbing mechanic. Also, Beck can shot diagonally and he can dash downwards. Maybe this means he can dash upwards for a double jump? Hopefully that's a yes.

    Really should've posted it when it still mattered...but there's a new ROM being shown in this video here displaying some interesting new Mighty No.'s.



    On a serious note, I wonder if Call will be just a sprite change from Beck.

    Looks like Mighty No. 2's stage(the ice one) might be one of the easier stages to clear first. Especially since the boss pattern seems to be pretty simple. Of course at this stage(pun!) that could change.

    Also, dashing seems to provide invulnerability to attacks as well.

    There's going to be a second crowdfunding campaign for new content first of which being an English dub once a goal of $100,000 us reached.
