Midnight

Ayumi climbed onto the windowsill and started to stare out to the sky, it was lovely today. Ayumi hadn't fully recovered from her near death situation at that point, and slid off the sill and onto the bed

 

"My bad. You could stay here if you wish. There are some other city kids who love to hang out around here, all of them are like me...not in looks or personality though."

 

"You're just special then aren't you?" She grinned. "And thank-you."

 

He laughed. "I guess I kind of am. And no problem really."

Ayumi lay on her bed, she started to feel a bit dizzy

 

"I realised a little while ago that you've saved me twice... And you know a fair bit about me. And now I know a fair bit about you. But I don't know your name, and I don't think I've told you mine either."

 

"You can call me Ty."

 

"Ty..." She repeated, commiting it to memory. "I'm Hybrid. Nice to meet you Ty." She grinned, offering out a hand to shake.

 

He shook her hand. "Nice to meet you too. Hybrid..intersting name."

 

"Thanks. I'm not entirly certain why Mother choose it for me. It is rather odd."

 

"Odd but nice."

 

"Thank-you." She smiled.

 

"Really, there's no need to thank me."

 

"Oh..." She mumbled, brushing her fine silver strands of hair from her face as the gentle breeze swept them across her scarlet eyes.

 

"Is there something wrong?"

 

"No, nothing. Just thinking."

 

"Okay then. I'm heading back inside to talk to the others."

 

"I have to come with, or you think it's safe to leave me for even a few mintues without getting ambushed?" She laughed, if only half joking.

 

"No offensive but you seem to draw trouble to yourself."

 

"None taken... I'm not normally this bad..."
