What if your alarm clock charged you $0.99 every time you hit the snooze button?

    Begin.

Instead of paying with cash, I'd use my body instead.

I just put my alarm the other side of the room so I have to get up to turn it off and that is normally enough to wake me up.

Usually when my alarm goes off I just turn it off and kinda drift back to sleep for a while. I can't help it, alarms have no effect in waking me up, I just do it so I know that it's close to when I need to get up

I can't even try to play that off as being over-cautious, more like if I make a chain of them that keep ringing I'll get far enough from my bed that the shower is now the closer walk.

That's probably why you're making a big deal out of 99 cent snooze buttons.

It's actually a micro-transaction joke... Hence the thread title.

Mobile games need them, so do alarm clocks!

Dude, I see where you're going, but my point is still valid. If you're making five micro-transactions, it's your own damn fault.

If anyone thinks that developers develop this stuff in their spare time for the fun of it, they're wrong.
If anyone thinks that developing this stuff is cheap, they're wrong.

If we gon' talk development, we can talk development.

Now lookey here Cliffy B, no one says that games need to be huge AAA super productions with every entry. If you want to make something that'll make money, make something that stands out and is goooood or make a cheaper, smaller game. Shovel Knight is going to sell hotcakes on a budget of $700k (American)

As for alarm clocks, these things cost like three dolla to make. Come now.
