Michael Jackson was creepy looking. I'm not going to lie and say I think otherwise. But he was a musical icon and a great man. He made so many musical hits and was a brilliant dancer. He will be missed. He was truly a legend. This time next year, I will moonwalk in his memory.

It was 8 am this morning when me and my mum gasped at the tv as the "breaking news" news came on, and how 3 hours ago Jacko was sent to the hospital for cardiac arrest. It wasn't confirmed until 8.30 that he had passed away, but we were stunned. It also seemed that he was invincible, that he could get through anything and it's unbelievable that he died so young.

His music was amazing, his dancing was better, and he was a good father

I was already going to sleep, then my mom told me to come out of my room, pointing at the TV... Shit, this came as a surprise... I was clinging on to the 'unconfirmed' and 'possibly in a coma' reports all night, only to hear in the morning that he had died, pretty much right before I heard the first reports of his death...

I never was a huge fan of him, and most of my memories of him are about the scandals surrounding him the entire decade, but still, his music was fucking brilliant.

May the Kings of Rock and Pop perform in a better place now. RIP. ​

Wow... It was a huge shock when my mom told me about it this morning. I never was a huge fan but some of his song were ok...

 

It's amazing....he was such a symbolic figure, despite his apparently dodgy personal life. At school today EVERYBODY discussed his death, it was kind of insane.

But wow, people I know are already making jokes about his death \:

 

That's stupid :/ I think people should just respect people who've died.

 

Kids will be kids. They did the same to Jade Goody after her death, too.

 

Today, the jokes started in less than 24 hours after his death. When my friend attempted to join in and laugh, I kinda went inasane.
People should respect all those who have died, whether they be famous or not.
Either way, jokes are disgraceful and not appreciated by all people with two braincells to rub together.

I hope he rests in peace.

 

I was kind of surprised and not surprised at the same time. Nonetheless, I am very sad about this.
Surprised that I didn't find out until I woke up this morning (though I did hear the night before that he had been rushed to the hospital). Also surprised that he died on my birthday. ;~;
But not surprised because I figured he had so many problems both physically and psychologically that I didn't expect him to live a normal life span.

Still, rest in peace Michael Jackson. ♥

 

MTV's showing all of his videos in his honor, because he was pretty much behind the birth of MTV and music videos in general.

If you have the time, go give it a watch. Thriller's on for me right now.

 

I grew up listening to MJ so this was a shocker. Especially since he's only 50. Kind of weird how he was actually planning a comeback and then he's dead from a cardiac arrest. Thought he was finally going to well.. straighten up and put out some good music again and do what he was known for instead of all the other crap. It's a sad day, but at least his music lives on. I've had to listen to bad MJ jokes all day and others scold people for it. Such is the life at work heh.

 

Because he's 50.

 

We were in the cafetiria at lunch at the time, when some girl just screamed out "MICHAEL JACKSON IS DEAD!!!" We thought she was joking, she always jokes about stuff like this. By the end of school it was confirmed that michael jackson died. :cold: at dancing we learnt a new dance to thriller, as well as running through our other MJ dances, Beat it and smooth Criminal. He was an awesome muscian. may he rest in peace
