You can't really compare them. By the way...you should have explained a little more on your first post.
I can't pick one...Halo for online and MGS for singleplayer.

I've never played MGS before. (shun me now plz...)

But I don't really like the real in Halo cuz I don think it's realistic enough.

Base on what I've seen from MGS, it's kinda like CoD in terms of gameplay. (I could be wrong) So I'm going with MGS, although Halo is also pretty good.

Halo. And the poster above me, dude, it's Halo, it's not supposed to be real, look at Kingdom Hearts.

lol MGS is nothing like CoD in gameplay.

    Halo - First Person Shooter

    MGS - Tacticial Action Esponage

Depends if you want a fun somewhat mindless shooter with great online. Or a story driven more stealthy action game.

I would personally go for MGS.

Never played MGS. Love Halo, though, but they both are excellent. Have to go with Halo, though.

Wtf? MGS is nothing like CoD >_> I don't see how you can relate those two games together. MGS isn't even a FPS.

But yeah, I'd go with MGS.

MGS because Halo can get very boring quickly....

and I like battling the bosses in MGS, like Phsycho Mantis, Sniper Wolf, Screaming Mantis, etc.

    Metal Gear Solid, of course.

Reason why? I draw the conclusion, even says it on my review for Halo, that the series was alright until the third Halo waltzed right in. Halo, best game of the franchise. Halo 2, eh, it was alright. Nothing I really wanted for a sequel, except for badass graphics and a gorgeous multiplayer. And Halo 3 was massively disappointing. As a final game in the series, don't you think they would've done better.

The game is terribly short, not much of a storyline left for the game. But, however, the multiplayer saved this game butt continuous times. In fact, I still haven't thrown my copy out the window because of how amazingly exciting the multiplayer. You can never have too much fun, and you can never run out of fun, in Halo 3's multiplayer.

And plus, Metal Gear Soild really made me think on how I would turn to decieve my enemy. And so forth and so on. Kojima's franchise never stopped entertaining me, and when the fourth game came out, I felt as if the game was probably the spawn of Chuck Norris and the epicness of Illusion of Gaia, all put into one game. The graphics are great, all the way from the lines under Solid's aged eyes, to the enviorments and gun design.

To finish it all off, the gameplay was tweaked majorly and I had a blast finishing the franchise and even playing the franchise itself. Metal Gear Solid beats Halo by a large, incredible stand point.

Do you really have to ask?

    METAL GEAR SOLID ,b!tchnes :3

Been a long time fan and Kojima just keeps on pleasing. Except for Ac!d which didn't have the same feel. I mean the second Ac!d game was cell-shaded, for crying out loud. Not Snake's best look.

I just love all the plot twists that come up in the games. You think you're in Kojima's head and then he throws something at you which ends up smacking you in the face so you go 'WHAT THE FECK MAN?!'.

    Yeah it's awesome like that.

    Halo is over-rated. :x

Besides. MGS has like 90 minute cutscenes. 8D

Definitely MGS, hands down. Every MGS game has just been great. Halo is cool but MGS is fawesome. It just has always seemed that there is so much more plot development and it is more challenging mentally as well as with shooting up stuff.

MGS. I've never really liked Halo; the idea of shooting and maiming forms of alien life has grown old.

Meh. I played MGS a lot, and I also played Halo a lot. I didn't find Halo that great because I generally suck at FPS games. And MGS, I don't know, I suck at it for some reason.

I guess I'd choose MGS for the depth, though.
