I wouldn't because each memory makes me who I am today. As much as there things I'd rather forget, I would never try to get rid of them because they're part of me and I've learnt from my mistakes. If I forget the embarrassing times or my mistakes then I could just do them again which is pointless.

Like most people have said memories make you who you are. The better part of most of my childhood up to about when I turned twelve was just awful due to a certain person. But I wouldn't want to forget about her, because as much as she made my life so awful it did teach me a lot about the world.

There is a memory I'd like to get rid of though. I can't remember it doing anything other than immense pain and confusion to me. I can still remember getting molested by my older male cousin a very long time ago. It fuсked with my mind, and it fuсked with it hard. Basically since that day I started having weird, almost random attractions to other men tat still linger to this day. And despite the fact I've come to terms with this, and decided I'm not going to act on the urges that I have, that I'm going to stick with my faith and hope they won't hinder me too much, they won't go away. So yes, I'd like that memory to just go away. Maybe then, I could convince myself that all of it just happened for no reason, that it's just the way I am, but I know that that just isn't the case.

Get rid of or modify memories? I might mess with that if they could be reverted back, other wise no for the reasons everyone has stated.

However I would like to add something. I've never had an event in my life to make any serious problems real to me. I can recognize thier existance but their isn't anything I'm really attached to. No real passion anywhere. I would like to include a defing event that would give me the passion to actively fix something in our world.

I don't think I would. They're too important to change or modify...
