Yeah, I basically ripped this off of NeoGAF, but it's a good question if you ask me.

So, what main menu themes were the most memorable to you? I've got a couple.

My most memorable one would definitely have to be the main menu theme from Sonic the Hedgehog. Oh, man, how that theme makes me smile.

Another would have to be "Dearly Beloved" from any of the Kingdom Hearts games. Oh, man that song brings out some big feels.

    So, what're yours?

One that I can think of straight away is the original Mass Effect's, Vigil. It wasn't purely the musical piece, but the way the menu presented itself as well; showing some of the characters as it went along, but as faint shadows. Very stirring, I thought.
And then there's this. Banjo-Kazooie was my childhood. Hell, those games are still good by today's standards if you ask me.

*Gigagasp* Banjo-Kazooie! I miss that game so much. I should hook up my N64 sometime and play it again...I could use a good platformer.

Most memorable? A few popped into my mind: Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time, Banjo-Kazooi and Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Quake 64 is pretty close, too.
