So what does everyone hate about clowns?

I think it's the makeup for me... evil stuff right there.

 

I hate how they constantly have a smile painted on, but they're obviously not happy. And you never know who they really are under all the makeup...

...but mostly that movie "It" made me terrified of them... is it sad that I didn't even see the movie, I only saw the trailers and had my aunt tell me what happened in it, and that was enough to scar me for life?

 

It is the makeup yes, how it always looks so garish, and how their faces always seem like stretched into unrealistic proportions, x: also, idk, there is something really sinister about them.

A friend said to me that to cure my fear of clowns that I should watch IT .-. I still haven't forgiven him for that ._.

 

The make up is a total opposite on how they feel; except when the Janitor tried to be a clown.

I hate them because they are so damn annoying. I mean they are "actors" but they are always in your face and you want to punch them in their goofy nose or something like that. Also "It" did give me some nightmares I did not want.

 

Ooh I have a good clown story actually!

This one time, my dad was driving me home from school or something, and so we were on the freeway, and I look over and notice one of those "kidnapper vans" as I like to call them (you know the ones, all white, no windows, no words on the side, and they look really old and shady). So anyways, we pull up a little more, and guess who was driving it?

A CLOWN.

And not just any clown, this clown looked PISSED. Like he hated life, and like he was going to do something very sinister. I was so scared, and then he must have noticed me staring at him, cause he turned his head and looked RIGHT AT ME. And so I looked away and told my dad to speed up or slow down so we could get away from the clown, but of course my dad thought it was funny so he stayed right next to the van for as long as possible D: I was so mad.

 

Omg I would have actually cried D: poor you :glomp:

 

Yes I was very close to tears :(

And now in my design class, I just got an assignment where I have to photoshop a picture of myself to look like a clown!! Whyyyyyy?!? My teacher just laughed at me when I told him I was afraid of clowns... he thought I was joking. I most certainly was not!!

I have bad luck with clowns apparently D:

Does anyone else have any clown stories? I feel like I'm talking too much...

 

Well... when I was like 7 or so, there was always a street fair downtown of this city where I used to live. We did a few of the rides or whatever, but it was mostly a shopping thing I guess. After awhile it gets boring, so we left... but as we were leaving, there was a clown on the sidewalk towards the parking lot. It was strange because no one was around him... so when we walked by he was like "Hey there! >D" And I nearly **** my pants. My dad, who also hates clowns, said something like "Piss off" or something I can't remember. xD

But anyways yeah... there's just nothing fun about clowns, imo. =/

 

Ahh what a creeper!! I would have screamed and run away... Haha you're lucky someone else in your family understands your fear of clowns. My family thinks I'm just being silly when I see a clown and freak out -_-

And no, there is absolutely nothing fun or funny about clowns.

 

clowns scare me..... i've been scarred ever since the movie "scream" ;-;

 

I was scared of them for a damn long time before that film xD I don't class Scream as involving clowns to be honest.
