What are your opinions on the new Megaman game expected to come out? _____________________ Massively pissed off, to be honest. I expected something more of an interesting, tricked out art style and a new engine possibly. But instead, I see this trailer to a back-to-retro style game. Personally, I think it's going to fail badly. Sure, some Megaman fans will hate me for it, but in the end, my opinion is that it will not be as good as others wanted it to be. Capcom, shame. Then again, they are working their butts off with Dark Void and Resident Evil 5 ...
The Only reason I'm a megaman fan is becuz of zero. he's the best from megaman to me. And I'm pretty sure that a lot of people think so too.

This is the third thread I've seen about this game. Wow...I still think the X series is better. I'm an X and Zero fan. Megaman...he's just weak compared to those two. I guess I'll still play this game though.

Hey, but do you know what this means, Jerome? Capcom is hiding something from us and is going to probably release something in the future with what we expect now. Maybe a regenerated Zero, we never know. Maybe X might get some new blaster. We never know. All we have to do is wait, y'know. Wouldn't blame them for half-assing the series seeing how they have Resident Evil 5 coming out later next year on Friday the 13th of March. And Resident Evil 5 is a massive project that everybody wants to play after the reveal at E3.
First off, you guys are missing the point. This is a classic Megaman game. As in NES era. There won't be a Zero or X or whatever the hell is in the new Megaman games. It's going back to the old days of the game, where you can't get past the first level.

In contrast to his child-like anime body, he looks..Like some old guy with some EXTREME issues he needs to work out O_o' Aside from that though, I'd be happy to see another game. Megaman 8 was a lotta fun XD The whole "Slide slide! Jump jump!" pissed me off after awhile, but it was fun ¦3 Though I agree with everyone else in saying the X series is better ¦D
Pay attention to previous posts. I said I'm not a real Megaman fan. I just love the series for Zero, and that's it.
That's where you could easily be wrong. Zero is in the old series. He's mentioned by Bass in one game. X also exists in the Megaman timeline...Dr. Light was still alive, meaning Megaman might have been around or died recently by the time of his creation... This game might bridge the gap...Megaman is gone in the X series. Only one game somewhat explained what happened but I heard that it wasn't cannon... Lullaby...quick thing to add right here...why would X even need a new buster? Hehe...we all know that he grows as he fights. He doesn't need it(although the armor capsules are actually cannon to the game...the Megaman X3 intro shows that)... Whatever...I'm just disappointed that the art style/graphics aren't going to be impressive(to me at least).
