Unsure if this is the right section or not, but if it isn't please move it.

Anyway, i noticed a week or so ago that i had a strange mark on my right elbow. I'm not sure what it is, but i thought it'd just go away. A week later it's stilll here. It may be just a carpet burn or something, i really have no idea. I don't lean on my elbow, i'm rarely putting any pressure on it at all.

Anyway, here's the image of it (sorry about the poor photography):

    Anyone know what it is?

Hmm.. the redness makes me think carpet burn, but the bumps make me think flea bites.
You have pets, so flea bites may be what it is. It's kind of weird that they would last a week, though.

You also said it itched, which makes me lean more towards flea bites. I'm going to go with flea bites.

Looks like some kind of rash. o.O If it itches, try to put some kind of anti-itch cream on it. If it was a rug burn, it would still have a burning sensation for a couple of days (they suck miserably), but the burning feeling would've faded by now. I can't really see it that well. >< If it's gotten bigger, I say check it out. If it's still the same size as it was before try not to worry about it and keep a close eye on it.

    Good luck to ya.

    Looks vaguely like psoriasis.
Unsure what do do about it, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is. See a dermatologist if you need to?

I am unsure of what it is but asking us may lead to serious suggestions that get you worried, if you are really worried I suggest going to a Doctor, there is no such thing as wasting a Doctor's time with a genuine problem.

It is most likely something similar to carpet burns but if you want a definite answer then get officially diagnosed with the possibility of getting help. Although I suggest waiting at least another day to see what happens.

Anti-itch cream to begin with. I usually get dry elbows this time of year. Combination of moisturizing lotion and anti-itch cream.

I'm also fairly positive that there is a gel you can apply for psorisis. It's in a blue and white tube(not positive on this one) but any Walgreens or any store that sells medications. I can't really tell from your picture since psorisis are red/white patches of dry skin.

Try not to itch at it. That usually just makes the initial problem worse.

Hard to tell from the picture exactly what, but I'm leaning toward either dry elbows, flea bites, or even bed bugs.

Try some hydrocortisone (Cortisone-10, for example) for the itching. If your elbows are dry, get some moisturizing lotion. If that doesn't help after about a week or so, see a dermatologist.

I think it looks like a rash?
Maybe try using some rash ointment and if that doesn't work just go see a doctor.

    Hope it gets better~

My god i just looked that up and it sounds EXACTLY like it. Thankfully it's not fatal, but wow thanks for helping me figure out what it is. Thank you everyone else for trying too.
