I feel the chick replacing Kelly in ME3 is better then her. Mostly because she actually does stuff that helps.

Congrats on not letting Thane die like I did. I still cry every time I think of how I didn't have him in ME3.

I'd like to say I did it in one go

    and I would've

had I not picked Samara to lead the second squad during infiltration

HER PROFILE SAID SHE'S A COMBAT EXPERT OK

DUMB USELESS BITCH I SHOULD'VE SIDED WITH MORINTH

As soon as Tali died I said nope fuck u hard reboot

That and I died like six times during the last few sections because Scions are nuclear queefbombs and Heavy Charge doesn't work right on the segmented floating platforms, which caused me to stand around like a glowing blue idiot when I expected to be ripping through a Collector's spine from the inside

I'm assuming you're not playing any of the DLC?

Where in your life have you ever heard of a combat expert makes a great leader?

And don't forget Arrival. These two tie into the next game.

    to start?

the profiles of every other squad member who's supposed to be in that position
I'll think about it but is it something I can do in postgame? 'Cause I'm really attached to this Shepard but I already beat the game with him :<

Also how extensive is it 'cause if it's like one mission then fuck that I'd rather spend that money on Hungry Howie's

All the DLC in ME2 and 3 can be done postgame, don't worry about it
And it's several missions all tying to one overarching side story. Lair of the Shadow Broker is all about Liara, Arrival is about preparing for the Reapers.
And all the DLC has an effect on ME3, so take that into consideration as well.
If I were to suggest what to get, I'd say get Lair of the Shadow Broker for ME2, adn Citadel for ME3, those are the two best bits of DLC, IMO
I'm not sure quite how long Lair of the Shadow Broker is... two+ hours, maybe? ME3's Citadel is 4 hours, easy, plus it has tonnes of replay value, it's hands down the greatest DLC in the Mass Effect franchise

What a lot of you see while reading this thread:

Interesting facts about a most beloved game.

What I see when reading this thread:

A lot of words that don't make sense. *skips half of it*

    (Doesn't play Mass Effect.)

In ME3? There is no post game in ME3. It's quite a final ending! XD

Actually Lair of the Shadow Broker and Arrival are, timeline wise, post-Collector Base. I'd say get Lair of the Shadow Broker if you don't want to be jumped on in the next game, and Arrival if you really care about the story.

In ME3, i HIGHLY recommend getting From Ashes, it adds a very lore exciting team mate, who is also an interesting character in himself, and is just good to have.
HIGHLY recommend Leviathan as well, the actual DLC is quite fun, a bit of investigation along with a really eerie tone. And you learn about the Reapers a considerable amount Mind blowing.
YOU MUST get Citadel if you are any sort of fn of this series and the characters in it. IT's considered fan service, but it's really the culmination of a great series and an appreiation of all the work you've done so far. I haven't laughed and cried in such a short space of time as I did when playing the DLC

Actually if you just care about the lore of the Mass Effect universe, get those DLCs. Totally worth the money especially if you ever replay the games, so many choices.

Arrival and Shadow Broker don't have a set timeline, I did them post collector base and pre-base, both work.

And don't get ALL the DLC :P
There's no reason to get the weapon packs and costume packs, and you can probably live without Genesis 2

What I did was trust what I learned from the characters themselves. For example Zaeed told me in most of his missions everybody died but him, so naturally even though he is a combat expert (he is a veteran merc afterall) I wouldn't trust him to lead the squad. Nor would I trust what is basicly a lone wandering knight of an asari to lead a team.
