We got bored so we put the game in, and faught Largo and Sync in unknown mode

Awesome gameplay. That game looks confusing to play....

 

I can see why almost every critic has considered the gameplay a hybrid of Star Ocean & Tales. The status screens are dangerously similar to those in SO3, XD--the way they run as well.

Looks like an interesting game. By the way, how extensive in the Multiplayer? Is it only in certain modes like this Unknown Mode? Or can you do multiplayer in the main story? As well, can the '2nd' player join in and join out at any time (like you can pause the battle and let 2nd player join, and vice versa to pull out)?

And is it only 2 players at most? XD

 

That was during story mode actually xD so yeah you can do a 2 player RPG the entire way through. The second player can join anytime they want to as well.

Edit: Can go up to 4 players.

it's FOUR PLAYERS!!!!! you can leave and join in at any time, when a player isn't playing the A.I. takes over.

Damn I want to see 4-player action so badly. You could combo the CRAP out of a boss with that.

 

I couldn't help but LOL and agree with that.

That looks like a very interesting game...not to mention the VA's sound pretty amazing.

 

yes, there are also higher difficulty levels that you can change to during gameplay. Xaldin was playing at the highest difficulty. and even with 4 players, the game is still challenging.

 

nice battle xaldin sync and largo is so fun to battle.
