Seeing as how the first thread I posted about the game was 3 years ago and really uninformative, I'm here to shed some info on the new game.

    A few screenshots:

I've never played any of the Max Payne games before, but i've been keeping an eye on it since more screenshots and such were released.

I probably won't get this until a price drop and after reading some reviews, but it looks entertaining to say at least.

The first two were really great. Awesome storytelling with fun bullet-time enhanced shooting gameplay, and even some nice comedy on the TV's you find throughout the world (I remember there was this soap opera that continued to play as you went through the first game). Also, Poets of the Fall did the ending theme for Max Payne 2, so there's that.

And being developed by Rockstar usually is a good sign for quality assurance and a great experience.
I should probably try and see more of the actual gameplay to get a feeling for it.

I just finished the game around half an hour ago. Really solid campaign with some of the best action-shooter gameplay I've ever experienced. Great graphics, awesome narration by James McCaffrey, and a nice variety of locales. Only flaws to me were the annoying effects on every cutscene that look like simple AfterEffects tricks and not understanding the enemy thugs' banter like in the old games (dunno Portuguese lol).

I've played a little multi-player, and though the mechanics are still solid, the spawn points are pretty bad at times. I'll say more when I've played more.
