358/2 Days !!Mass Spoilers!! Theory on Xigbar for those who have played the game through

SERIOUSLY SPOILERS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO RUIN THE GAME FOR YOURSELF DO NOT READ THIS!!!

Okay I can't remember what day it was exactly this happened (it was somewhere past 300) Xigbar was fighting Xion and then suddenly she appears as Ven from bbs...but only Xigbar sees her as Ven while when Axel shows up he sees her as Xion. So my theory going from what Xigbar stated in KH2FM+ about other bearers of the keyblade

...think it's safe to assume that he has some major connection to Ven or did he see Ven just simply because he'd seen him fight? Also given that Xion was portrayed to Xigbar as Ven, as she herself is just fragments of Sora's mind...whats the link between Sora and Ven? Or could this be Xemnas's doing?

Lulz am I the only one that thinks that Xigbar calling Roxas kitten is adorable XD

 

You mean in KH2 when Xigbar said to Sora, "The Keyblade sure picked a dud this time. You don't look like half the hero the others were."?
Nomura alraedy said that when before becoming a Nobody, Braig saw Terra, Ven, and Aqua fighting with their Keyblades.

As I haven't seen the scene where Xion turns to Ven in Xigbar's eyes, I don't have an opinion

I didn't like that scene. Only because it was so random to add into the whole Ven connection, when it could've been done more subtlety. We already have Roxas and Xemnas for that. But I guess they needed to add it to Sora as well, so they chose his clone. And they picked Xigbar to have a face flashback to strengthen his connection. Makes me wonder if we'll see his other self in BBS. It was too bad that made him distracted enough to lose.

Xigbar calls Roxas Neko alot -giggles- neko = kitty...I like how Axel was left with an unconscious Xigbar...and just left him there, but I'm sure we'll see his other self in BBS now that they went ahead and threw that scene in at random.

The game itself has left more questions than answers which I've found highly disappointing...I'll await the english release though before fully judging it.

 

Awwww, that's so cute. Xigbar and Demyx, I think, were of the few that really got to know Roxas, and the ones who, in the novel, cared the most. It's nice to see that in this game. And was Xion already tapping into her Sora skills by that point? Because, pack that, with WTF Ven distraction, and you have a knocked out Xigbar. And Axel just left him? xD

 

Actually if nothing else Xigbar and Demyx did nothing but make Roxas feel right down miserable. Um excuse rough lulzy translation this takes place after Axel's left for three days to go to castle oblivion:

Xigbar: oh it appears everyone on in Castle oblivion has been earses
Roxas: WHAT?! What about Axel?
Demyx: yeap gone too lulz
Roxas: ;w;

further more did you notice whenever you went on missions with either of them they kinda...ran away or dissapeared whenever a boss battle appeared? XDDD

Xion was always tapping into her Sora powers...well...more she was tapping Roxas's. As Roxas got more powerful so did Xion, that's why on those missions where it's just Roxas and Xion you see her power improved massively cause she's too close to Roxas.

...seriously though Chain of Memories only lasted 3 Days?! WTF!?

Also another thing a friend noted which I find hilarious...outside the front of the haunted mansion...have you noticed this seems to be Axel's choice location for eliminating or at least attempting to eliminate other Organization Members?

 

I think braig and ven had some kind of relationship, like they may of been friends or talked alot.

The way I see the way xion works (if you guys were paying attention) if her apearance obviously varies depending on the viewer, to neutral she apears hooded, unhooded is probebly either friendly or how roxas was seeing her (because of the Sora/Kairi connection) and axel saw xion through roxas and got the same kind of view.

Obviously theres a connection between Ven and sora. so Braig saw his 'prefered' view which was Ven.

 

Taww. You know they were teasing him, no ill will [I'm not sure if news about Axel's survival already passed]. They were the only ones that felt for him when he had to return to Sora. Its fits with Xigbar calling him a cat/kitty. He's like the little brother, so he's going to get picked on. I like that kind of thing. And it also proves that Xigbar and Demyx were, indeed, close. And I understand why Demyx in the missions runs away, part of his character. Xigbar, I don't know. It does go back to KH2, though, in The Land Of Dragons. Sora gets distracted, and then Xigbar is not by the door anymore. Yet, when you pan in on Sora, and see from behind him, you see him sneaking off xDDD. Man, that was hilarious to me.

And yeah, that was weird. Three days? o.o The game felt like a year.

And what did happen in front of that mansion? I know that Axel and Xion were about to fight, but I never really got the reason why. Was he on orders? Was he pissed off? Granted, the feeling that Axel was always distant from Xion was there, and it was obviously not the same as it was with Roxas in friendship [Xion was more like...a friend of a friend], so I keep pondering what was that about.

As for Xion. In the previous scene there was that meeting where Xemnas was talking to everyone...he announced that Xion was defective and thus the orders fell to Axel as the organization eliminator of traitors, to go find her, however his orders were altered slightly and that was to bring her back alive which he did...Seriously Axel was so loyal to the organization in this game ;w; anyways to the scene that followed the meeting where Axel and Roxas are talking...Roxas asks him if he'd really eliminate Xion he says other things and states he wants to see if she's still the Xion they remember...when he confronts her in the forest she says she's realized now she's nothing but a doll etc so on and Axel realizes thing can't go back to the way they were and so yea fight ensues.

The friendship between Axel and Xion is rather strained at the best of times, that's not to say he doesn't try XD

I think it shows that Ven clearly has way more connection to Sora than he does Roxas. I mean, Xion IS Sora. Technically, so is Roxas. But if Braig looks at Xion and sees Ven then it shows Ven is clearly closer to Sora than Roxas.

Of course, this brings up the question; Braig must have looked at Roxas and said, that is Ven? Well, if he knew that Roxas was Sora all along then it would make complete sense that he would accept Roxas's appearance to be Ven's.

Well, then, how about comparing it to Larxene's, then? To se eif there's a difference? I don't get Japanese, but from the body language...

Of course he tries. If not for his sake, then Roxas's, who told him he would like for the three of them to have ice cream together. He definitely knows how much Xion means to Roxas, even though he takes it begrudgingly. It isn't hard to see what will happen once the whole truth gets revealed to the blond boy :/. He does get irked at times when they spend time away from him. I know the feeling of the new add-on, and usually, when that happens, the only important friendship that matters is Roxas, because that's the one he's vying for. You don't see him get the same way with Xion. And if he didn't mind the other two's friendship, then he wouldn't be getting all irritated in the first place. We all know that Axel has a soft side, so he would be cordial and get along with Xion, considering the "girl" has done nothing to him personally and makes Roxas smile. Plus, add in the days with so much unhealthy ice cream consumption [seriously...], and it will really be put through that you get used to it, and care about her to an extent, at least. It's not that he hates or dislikes her, it just isn't as strong. Think like a classmate you spend the school time with, but never really hang out after school.

Hence, a friend of a friend.

That's the way I see it. I keep getting the vibes of "distance" all the time when it comes to him and...her/he/it/whatever in their scenes. I kept getting it even from the trailers get-go.

 

X'D You'll figure it out when the english version comes out. Xigbar seems to treat Roxas as more of a burden and well Demyx...is well kind of all over the place ^^;;;

eg:

Xigbar just saves Roxas from a hoard of heartless in halloween town in a most AWESOME display of showering bullets (seriously owo awesome entrance is awesome)
Roxas: Geez thanks for being my backup
Xigbar: YOUR BACK UP?! tsh the nerve just wait till Saix hears about this...tch you calling ME backup -comes off as being offended-
Roxas: ;w; wahhht...?
Xigbar: -scowls- come on let's go

Oh and it's not that Axel doesn't like her/him/it...err it's confusing...but it kinda all just boils down to his dieing scene in kh II when he said Roxas was the only one he ever liked. But in saying this he mentions various times throughout the game that the feelings they feel (talking to Roxas) are false and it's something that Saix reminds him (Axel) firmly of as well. Axel's caught in a bit of turmoil over this whole 'we have no hearts' thing throughout the game and senses something just isn't right about Xion and her ability to copy Roxas. Hence the scene where he's raiding Vexen's study, he's trying to figure out just what's going on with not only Xion but Roxas as well.

The whole sea salt ice cream thing...it's actually Axel's favorite treat!!! XDDD

Saix also mentions something about Axel having changed since castle oblivion...makes me wonder what happened to him during his 48 days of not being in the story...wonder what the red head was up to?

 

Aw, I was hoping you could tell me something about Larxene =P. But, that isn't too bad to me, actually, what Xigbar was doing. He just seemed to be all over the place in that dialogue. He switched his standpoint. All talking to himself, and then suddenly serious. Actually, I would've acted the same way as Roxas, "Hur?". It may seemed like a burden, but a burden doesn't necessarily mean he dislikes the kid either. Demyx...ah, what can we say for dear Demyx? Either way, Xigbar is slowly becoming one of my favorite members on top with Larxene, Roxas, Axel, Marluxia, and Demyx.

And as I explained before, I never said he disliked "her" [to me, Xion is genderless due to the fact that she's memories, really, which are simply energy. The only reason she looks like a girl is because of Kairi's memory in Sora]. It's just that it isn't strong to be called the "best of friends" or anything. Despite Axel's own turmoil with his existence, this never really stopped him from acting like he did to Roxas. Which Xion doesn't get from him in turn. Though this also proves he was suspicious since the beginning, so he probably didn't get too attached. I mean, did he even react to Xion's death? Roxas, on the other hand, poor thing.

And that's another thing that bugs me, now that you mention it. Axel's disappearance. With Roxas fainting, and that means, Sora being in the pod, and the actions in CO done, 20 days gone for what reason? It was never explained. Maybe he was trying to "find himself" in some kind of guilt about what he had done. I don't know. But it's weird. And interesting. Then again, it could also mean that times between worlds are different. Hmm.

 

Very interesting, too bad can't read japanese, I haven't even seen that far yet, with Xion and the weird connection thing, creepy. From another user they said that Roxas thought that Xigbar was Larxene lol. Geez can't he tell a man from a woman. Poor naive Roxas. lol. Another ironic thing is that the organization seems to have only one day off in the year that I have seen.

Yeah all that ice cream, Roxas had probably about 30 ice creams. Geez surprised that he doesn't get sick.

Three days in Castle Oblivion? No way it felt like a couple of months. It should explain of what the members were doing in the skipped days in the game. And all the other names of the members besides Axel's.

Now with Xigbar it was already decided that he is an easedropper and that he does seem to have some kind of connection with the keyblade wars or some sort like it mentioned in FM. Very random to state in this game though.

Xigbar likes to test Roxas and may be the reason why he leaves him alone when he goes on mision. Though Xaldin did the same thing.

 

Yeah Braig does seem to have some sort of connection to Ven. Perhaps hes a party member. Or an enemy. My freaking eyeballs popped up when I first saw him. Though I still wonder...what would Braig look like?

 

I don't remember seeing that part in the game except in the preview. What day or part is it on?

Of course Xigbar would be offended, because he likes to run things. Nor would he wanted to be beneath Roxas in his mind.

I also don't remember any part of where Xigbar faints, I looked for it. I know that Axel does, but not Xigbar. Nir see any type of thing where Roxas looks like Ven.....Where exactly are these parts in the game?
