Between Krogan Vanguard (fricking called it!), Batarians, and Geth, it looks like this pack has got serious potential to me. I'm not so sure what a second Asari Adept is going to bring to the table, but I'm sure it'll be different enough to be worth it.
My only concern is how they're implementing it. The content is free, but it'll only be as obtainable as the characters and weapons are already. But hey, if they want to expand my multiplayer for free, I'm quite happy to keep spending a bit of money to get myself a Geth and Batarian.

What I mean is that we already have the ability to be an Asari Adept (coincidently, I think their class skill is Asari Justicar too, though that might just be the Vanguard), so I'm more wondering what the differences between Asari Adept and Asari Justicar Adept will be. From what we've seen, they seem to have a Biotic Barrier move which looks similar to the one Samara could use in the Long Walk segment of the second game, which is one thing.

Wild Mass Guessing here, but I think they'll be a very defensive class, based around protecting allies rather than doing damage by themselves. Which let's be honest, there should be one of those, because how often have teams found themselves unexpectedly staring down an Atlas or a pair of Geth Primes and wished that somebody could throw up a barrier like that cover them? I know I have.

If that's the case, then doing the hacking device waves will be so much easier.

I heard about this and was guessing prices at 800 or 1,200 Microsoft Points, but when I read it was free, my eyes lit up with happiness. So glad that things are being implemented for free so far. DLC has been free so far (excluding From Ashes, which I don't really count), that's makin me happy enough to say the least.

I think Asari Justicar will likely be a fast moving biotic intensive hit and run kind of deal, run in do some damage and get the hell out. Sounds like something I'd be interested in, but we'll have to see.

I can already see people making Legion copies with the Geth class and Wrex copies with the Krogan Battlemaster. Which are all good things I'm sure.

Barbarians seem a bit more meaty and brawler like then humans so maybe they'll pack more of a punching holes in shields and armour and the such. I mean the one hit sniper harpoon gun looks nice.

A second Multiplayer expansion (also free, like last time) is due on the 29th May.
This one's called the Rebellion pack, and includes 6 new characters, 2 new maps, and 3 new weapons.
This time the playable species added are Vorcha Soldier, Vorcha Sentinel, Male Quarian Engineer, Male Quarian Infiltrator, Ex-Cerberus Vanguard and Ex-Cerberus Adept.

After that stunt they pulled with the day one DLC, they know better than to charge for maps. They have a very, very sensitive situation on their hands.

Unconfirmed, but from the same person who accurately leaked the last expansion; another multiplayer expansion may be on it's way.
If the details are correct, the new pack would be titled 'Earth', and feature three new maps; set in Rio, Vancouver, and London. It would also feature three new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes would also be made available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury.
There's no confirmed citation to say whether or not this is true yet, nor on any release date.

The Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut DLC will be released on Tuesday, June 26th for most every region. It will come out July 4th for PS3 in Europe.

EDIT: Oh yeah, it's free, of course.

Time to see how they try to cover up Casey Hudson's horrible writing for the current ending.

Time to see if they can salvage a terrible game. Horrible, horrible game.

Casey didn't write anything, Mac Walters was the lead writer. The writers did an amazing job in the game, though not perfect, it's still stellar.

The extension won't affect the gameplay, characters, majority of the story already said at all, so I very much doubt that your opinion will change from it, since it's only suppose to add some additional scenes and the sort.

Oh...then I was misinformed. Friend of mine kept throwing Casey's name around. And I agree, the writing for the rest of the game is great, no matter how linear it became.

Yeah, Casey Hudson being the director of the Mass Effect series is getting blamed somehow for any perceived wrong doings by Bioware, even projects not involving him or his team, such as Star Wars: The Old Republic which isn't connected to him in the slightest.

People whine too much about the ending and forget everything else the tie great and genuine about the game, and it's the only thing they ever want to talk about. It's annoying for me to hear all the comments people give about the series and not bite back at them in an argument about the generally superb quality of the game, its characters and the such. But I bite my tongue because no one cares to hear about the view that isn't in agreement with them.

Well it was a lot better than the original ending. Got sort of emotional this time. But so far I've only done the red ending.

Although it didn't explain the Shepard breathing scene, or expand upon it. >:

Okay, does this DLC make up for the ending, or does it leave with more rage and questions. I wanna know before I download it. I know it's free and everything, but I don't wanna get more BS about this.

You get more choices, and it adds a lot of information that was missed. It's the same ending though. You just find out what happens in the future, how everyone dealt with what happened, etc. And I just discovered a brand new ending as well, so yea.

I will give my verdict when I have played up to it tomorrow.

From what i've seen, you have the option of the same three endings, with a fourth one added.
This one is a refusal of all the other options, wherein the player decides not to heed the catalyst's choices and instead let the Reapers continue the harevst of all life. It ends with a scene on a green planet, where Liara is calling out. We pan down to an underground cavern, and see a hologram of Liara explaining how they lost the war with the reapers, and that it is not too late for new civilisations.
I dont care too much about this ending so I watched it, it's and interesting choice and ending but i dont think it'll be canon for the series as a whole.

Sadly I was really mad when the indoctrination theory was not real, knowing Bioware they usually listen to their fans.
At least some of the plot holes were filled, still choose destroy, I believe that is my goal day 1 from Mass Effect 1, destroy the reapers, not going to choose destroy because wasn't that one of the reasons of the game? Prove to the Illusive Man that control is wrong, and will never choose Synthesis because even though they filled the plot holes, its still space magic to me no matter what, and I don't feel like doing what Saren believed because its hypocritical. Overall, I think that I can take ME3 out of the "worst ending ever" category.
