Actually, there's way to make Mordin live. I don't exactly remember how it's done, but it's possible.

I also got a breathe scene because I imported a save, but it just made things ever crazier. It didn't really help at all.

I romanced Miranda. It was decent.

It was interesting. I can't really describe it that well. But on the last mission, she does that "Look into Eternity" eye thing and you stand with her staring at the beautiful darkness around you, then light opens up. Definitely fulfilling and satisfying!

Actually Mordin doesn't have to die! My friend stopped him (he is doing a renegade playthrough) from going up the tower with a renegade option, because Eve was dead and he went along with that Salarian Dalatrass' option. So he went to go work on the Crucible. Sucks for the Krogan though.

I was actually more sad about losing Legion, to be honest. I never really got into Tali... I believe it is the best one too, it gave hope.

That happens no matter what you do. I romanced Tali and still got it.

Almost identical to mine. I think we did the same for Dragon age 2 if in remember, choosing a rogue and all the same romances and everything. We play too similar! XD

I did the Destroy ending, and that was it, not tried any others but I've seen them on UTube. But yeah, just seemed the best outcome and what I'd been doing all along was trying to destroy the Reapers, so why waver from that goal right at the end?

Anyone romance Ashley/Kaidan and then someone else in ME2 and have to deal with that relationship problem?

I never played Dragon Age 2...o.o

I romanced Ashley in the Genesis thingy, than Tali in 2. It was very interesting seeing Ashley in 2, and again in 3 after romancing Tali. She calls her a sister. I was ok with that, and stuck with Tali :3

Really? Maybe I'm thinking of Fuk. Can't remember that well.

I remember when Ashley was slightly xenophobic about the idea of alien races aboard the ship. How far she's come from ME1. The whole team bonded in their own ways with each other, no matter their past. It was great to see that Shepherd could bring together so many different people to fight for him like they were fighting death itself without fear.

    Maybe.

And yeah, I love seeing certain characters develop over 3 games, like seeing Tali mature from a shy little girl on her pilgrimage to a brave, outspoken admiral, and Garrus taking on more responsibility in his own certain way, and Ashley going from an alien-hater to a defender of the aliens, even going against Cerberus, a pro-human group.

The Geth and Quarian thing being resolved was definitely my favorite part of the story in 3. It was tragic how it all started with the question

    "Do Geth have a soul?"

And its answered by Tali, someone who once feared and hated the Geth, but now her home is being re-built with their help. I just wish Legion could have seen it. His death was kinda downplayed to me, but still tragic.

I agree entirely with that very well developed storyline over the series.

They went from being the main enemies that you battled in ME1 where you would see them only as killing machines and bad. Along comes legion, who at first you don't know what to make of and then he throws in a curve ball about the truth of the geth, which is both sad yet welcome to hear they aren't monsters. Go into retaking Rannoch and the geth finally develop their own identity as individual finally being 'I' instead of 'We' showing their evolution.
I can only hope it's not the last we see of them no matter what.

Well I finally beat the story yesterday with all five of my years to put to the test for this final epic conclusion..........
And I feel depressed about it now. I went with the choice were I combine synthetics and organics because it seemed to be the best choice to me. Now I regret it, so I went and watched the other two endings, and they sucked more too. Did I really just spend X amount of years playing this series to get this ending???? Please somebody tell me there is hope with this dlc or am I asking too much.

They're talking about it at PAX East. They said they're going to address some issues with the ending.

I'll be pissed if they say it's going to be $9.99 or something. Azura's Wrath did this, so it wouldn't surprised me if EA and Bioware did too.

I am a lon time fan of ME since the first one, yet I think I'm the only 'devote' fan that seems to have dealt with the ending the relatively well.

I know it's a pile of **** compared to the rest of the series and has no real redemption but it was very life changing so I guess that's what I expected. Still I respected how it wanted and I just want something else to clear up the problems with it, and continue on with the story.

Oh I have been a fan since the beginning as well, and I'm not all *****y *****y about the ending, it's just, I guess had more in mind for it than what I got is all.

To be perfectly honest here, looking back at it, it's a **** ending for the Mass Effect trilogy.

I mean the games and the series as a whole offer you choices, compelling development of plot and characters as well as crucial and diverse themes. The ending of ME3 didn't meet any of that, and in effect was such a breakaway from the series, and in such a bad way. I wanted my decisions to affect things more nearer the end. I mean I'm glad certain decisions I made helped me in the third, but it impacted more how the gameplay worked sometimes then it did the story, which for me is a more crucial component.

I do however respect the decisions of the writers, no matter how I disagree it was how they wanted to end it at that point. To be honest, I knew it wasn't over, one way or the other, for Shepard-Commander, might be because I picked the Destroy ending and seeing the extra scene and all, but I thought Shep wouldn't die easily anyway.

Indoctrination theory actually makes a lot more sense now throughout the game and series as a whole and not just the final bit. I actually stand by it more now.

In all the honesty, I don't know if this "extended-cut" will be good. If they had really wanted to give players what they wanted, it should have been in the game to begin with. I mean, after 5 years of doing this, you would think after seeing all the reactions from the people that have stuck to this game since the beginning that they would have put a option in the game that would have been " Reapers dead, everybody lives, everybody happy" ending for those that like that stuff. But in all three endings, all we receive is death, whichever ending you choose, you get death. Sure we the people are getting the ending we want, but will really be the "ending" we want??? I might not be all happy with the ending I got in my game, but it is my story and I knew it would come down to something like that or something in the end. And I think that this dlc that we will be getting will give us closure, but we probably wont be all the happiest with it. But I could be wrong.

First off, this is in response to criticism of fans. And I'm not talking a small response but a HUGE response by fans to change things. Bioware are being pressured to deliver something the fans want, not necessarily what they want so don't instantly think because your ending wasn't in there that you have some right to have it. They could have easily said they would leave everything as is, but they are addressing fan feedback, and I respect them highly for that.

I also respect the fact that they aren't adding more endings, instead they are elaborating more on their endings and not changing what has already been established. I can only think this was the most appropriate response to what people have said for all included.

I just want the whole debacle to be ended, hopefully this will do its job.
