oh god, I am so glad the Ant-man movie isn't 100% about Hank Pym. There would have been so many ...uncomfortable feelings with that. But yeah, the Jocasta thing could work since we now have Ultron. But the monkey wrench with that is that Ultron is Tony's creation and not Pym's. Unless Ultron bases Jocasta's AI off of Pepper...

    Also...

YES, LETHAL JOKE CHARACTER. I oddly want this now.

Since we're all here talking about women being awesome in Marvel movies, I had this thought regarding things.

What if Thor: Ragnarok saw Jane picking up Mjolnir?

there's an issue of Guardians where she's very briefly part of the team that has her and Gamora running around getting into all kinds of action-packed shenanigans and it's really fun. get someone who's not horribly miscast as Gamora and I think that'd benice to see on screen. there's a lot of paralleling the two characters so I don't think it's impossible that she'll be introduced down the line. I believe it was the Age of Ultron event that brought her over from Spawn.

So I keep seeing you say Gamoora was miscast and don't really get why. Granted I haven't read the comics, but what's wrong with Zoe?

See I'm not yet sure where my problems with the casting ends and my problems with the script's portrayal begin. I don't have anything against Zoe as an actress, but I don't think she was right for Gamora. She doesn't do anything particularly wrong with what she's given, but I'm not sure I buy Gamora's threatening presence in the movie, and all of the other characteristics seemed too understated in the performance. I don't think she was expressive enough but I'm sure she was directed that way. I've only seen the movie twice and can't briny myself to watch it again because I resist a lot of the decisions that were made for the film. In the end, I think it's a combination of actress, makeup, and script that add up to me being tremendously let down by this Gamora (among other things in the movie), which was probably my favorite of the Guardians in the issues I read, but I'm not sure which of those three things in the most prominent. I have the exact same issues with Pratt, but that's because Quill's not the funny man in the comics at all; he's quite the opposite. and Rocket's lack of accent really bugs me but other than that's he's straight off the page.
