OOC: Yeah but Stefan wouldn't know that lol
IC: Stefan didn't turn to look at Sam as she entered the force field. "Why hello there, nice day to join me for a casual walk in the park?" he greeted sarcastically. Slowly but surely, he was losing his concentration, due to the immense amount of energy being used by him. He crouched down slightly, taking some of the strain off of his back as he used both hands to stop Tremor.

Tremor quickly realised that, at the rate he was going, he would not get anywhere near Stefan. He slammed both of his fists onto the ground quickly and powerfully so that a crack appeared in the ground underneath Stefan and Sam.

 

"Dammit" Sam muttered as she jumped up in the air in an attempt to avoid the crack but instead of going back down she landed on thin air. She grabbed hold of Stefan, she wasn't strong enough to carry him and she didn't know if she could air walk with someone else but she had to try. "Step up or levitate yourself" She called out to him. She dropped the force field, she was too distracted but she realised that she had physical contact with him. She had to phase with him anyway to be able to airwalk, Tremor would have a hard time touching them.

 

Stefan pointed the palms of his hands at the ground, as though he was pushing off of it. Which in a sense he was. He used his telekinetic waves to push himself and Sam upwards. Unfortunately, he was unable to do so without lifting Tremor up as well, who had by that point gripped another street pole and was swinging it around violently, narrowly missing Stefan with the edge of it. I hope she's got something planned Stefan thought to himself.

 

Sam gripped Stefan's hand phasing with him, "Don't let go of me. Keep in physical contact with me. If you do that we should be fine, we'll be untouchable. Even if he hits us." She instructed him just loud enough for him to hear. She'd been impressed with what he did but now she was just stood on thin air beside him as if there were ground beneath her feet. "And I think I can air walk with you if you trust me, just stand on air and stop your pushing us off the gound. That might bring him back to earth with a thud too."

 

Stefan took a deep breath. Trusting her after only a short time of knowing her..well stranger things have happened he thought. Using all his willpower, he forced himself to stop suspending them in the air, and hoped that Sam really could keep them both in the air long enough to survive.

Tremor fell onto the ground with a loud thud. Very slowly, he got up. His bones ached severely, he was bleeding in several places, and he had a headache. Though his murderous insanity told him to stay and kill them all, his sane side of himself told him to leave and escape while he still could. For once, he listened to his sanity, and began to run away from the battle.

 

"Fells wierd to stand on air, doesn't it?" Little Mist said but concentrated on keeping them in the air, she'd not really done it with someone else before, though she wouldn't admit that to Sefan, she knew she could do this and wasn't going to screw it up. She saw Tremor starting to run, "Should we stop him?" she asked her partner quietly.

 

Stefan looked at Tremor retreating, and then back at Venom and Spiderman. "You can if you really want, but i'm going to just let him go. We've got bigger problems" he stated, gesturing towards Venom with his free hand.

 

Sam nodded, "Agreed, let's get back down on the ground. Walk down as if there were steps there and don't let go of me" Sam took the stepped down and waited for Stefan to join her before taking the next step.

 

"All...right?" Stefan said. Definately what i pictured myself doing when i woke up this morning he thought to himself as he replicated what Sam had done and took a step down.

 

She nodded, with a smile "Just keep doing that to the bottom" She said taking another step, she considered in her mind for a moment making it into a slide to go down, there was no reason she couldn't but now was not a good time to experiment. "It's completely up to you how big or small the steps are"

 

"Ok....what would happen if i just took a huge leap?" Stefan asked, curiousity entering his mind.

 

"If you break contact with me, you simply fall. But if we leap together...I should be able to make a floor at the other side, but I don't know. It's a risk" She said, she'd much prefer to experiment on her own first. Having someone else doubled the difficulty and if she screwed up...

 

"Ok we'll take it one step at a time" Stefan responded as he took another step.

OOC: Ok i'm heading off to bed..night

 

OOC: okay, I seriously need to buy a laptop. I missed that whole scene because it was my little sister's turn for the computer. Alright, here goes.

IC: Stone Heart ran after Tremor. He was pretty beat up, and other than a skinned knee she got after falling through Sam, she hadn't got hardly a scratch. "I guess there are some advantages to being a sidekick." she thought. "Everyone focuses on the biggest threat, and you're kind of left to your own." Out loud she said "You alright?"

 

"Might be the best idea" As she stepped down with him. They moved quicked down now then the first few tentative steps as they got used to it. Sam didn't mind air walking, she'd done it plenty of times but she couldn't help but smile when her foot touched solid ground, "That wasn't so bad was it? And it gave you a chance to recover"

 

Stefan landed on the ground. "Not too bad...definitely strange though" he agreed. He looked at Venom. "Now..let's see what we can do about this spider freak" he stated.

Tremor grunted. "I'm fine" he said. He refused to show weakness to anyone.

 

The corner of Stone Hearts mouth twitched, almost betraying the smile she was trying to hold in. She couldn't bear to show weakness either, she was too proud. So although she was sure he was lying and injured, she left him his pride and played along. "Well, I'm not." she said. She reached into her coat pocket and pulled out a small device, rectangular in shape, and held it over her knee. Then, with the press of a button, new skin appeared over the scrape, healing it completely. "It's a tricorder," she said, almost as in response to a question. "A docter friend gave it to me. It can't handle head-trauma or internal bleeding, but I've modified it to do just about anything else. Here." She put it into Tremors hand, as if she thought he might want to see how it worked, and turned then she turned away to inspect the new hole in the knee of her black jeans. Her clothes had several rips and tears where she had been attacked and then healed herself. She would have to buy more later. "Just press the red button." If He wanted to use it, she didn't have to watch.

 

Tremor decided against using the tricorder. "The offer is appreciated, but not needed. As i told you, i'm fine" he stated.

 

"Dang it," Stone Heart thought. He had seen through her act. "Well, alright then." she said, taking back the tricorder and putting it back in her pocket. Then she looked at the ground. "So..." Here was the awkward part. Stone Heart hated apoligizing. "Uh... sorry about... um, messing it all up back there." She got the words out quickly. She never would have apoligized for anything, usually. But it was imperative she stayed on this guys good side, so she swallowed her pride.

 

Tremor stopped walking for a moment, almost not believing she had apologised. He slowly turned to face her. "You helped" he said. He had never been good with complimenting people, so he left it at that. He looked away and continued walking.
