Tremor leapt up and attempted to uppercut Allen.

 

Destiny was flying as fast as he could toward Tremor and the others. King E was riding a motorcycle below him and Phantisma was driving King E's car. They pulled into a nearby parking lot and started running toward the fight. "STOP!" Shouted Destiny as he flung a ball of fire at Tremor. He, King E, and Phantisma took up their fighting poses, Destiny in the front and King E and Phantisma standing behind him like bodyguards. King E's hands electrified and Destiny's glowed with fire. Phantisma pulled out her lazer gun. And all three of them smiled. Destiny had a chain fastened around his neck that held a gem. The gem glowed thousands of different colors at ounce and seemed to radiate with power.

 

Stone Heart prepared herself for battle. "We are seriously outnumbered," she said, to no one in particular. There was a strange power coming from that gem, She could feel it. Uh-oh. She knew now what it was. That gem had been integrated with her mistake, that bit of earth that could sap peoples powers and life-source. How had Destiny get it? Wait... Destiny... was Ember? Yes, that felt true. If it was, he probably didn't remember it, so he probably didn't know the power he wore around his neck. She breathed a sigh of relief. If he didn't know of it's power, then he didn't know how to use it. "DESTINY!!!" she yelled. "Who are your little friends?" He was a cocky kid. Distracting him was her best form of defense.

 

Destiny abandoned his defensive stance and flashed stone heart a super cocky smile. "This is King E and phantisma." He said turning to his friends with a very different kind hearted smile. "And this..." Destiny pulled the gem of its chain and held it up so that it caught the sunlight. "This is the emerald of Destiny, otherwise known as the E.O.D. It's quite useful. King E, do you mind if I put this in your backpack for a while?' King E looked away from Stone Heart and smiled as well. "Not at all, Destiny." King E took the E.O.D. and (After staring at it for a few seconds,) put it into his faded backpack. Phantisma straightened up and glanced at Stone Heart disdainfully. "I am Phantisma." She said, "Destiny and I met at King E's house." She jutted out her chin and flipped her black hair out of her eyes. "Where did you two meet." It was quite obvious that Phantisma was not aware that Destiny had a cousin, and that she thought that they were very close friends. King E laughed kind heartedly and Destiny flashed Phantisma a dazzling and confident smile.

 

That's right, Stone Heart thought to herself, making sure to block Destiny out of her head. Just keep bragging about that emerald, Out loud, she said to phantisma "I am Stone Heart, Destiny and I met when we were infants. But where are my manners? I haven't introduced you to Tremor." Here she turned to Tremor and Allen, who were still fighting. "Tremor, this is my cousin, Destiny, and all those other losers are his little friends." She didn't really care if Tremor had even heard. He was pretty busy punishing Allen for betraying them. She had said this for the benefit of all the 'heroes' that were standing around.

 

Little Mist watched them silently, working out who was on which side with interest. Storing all she heard in the back of her mind. She didn't rush in and get involved, Stefan was still down and she had no plans to leave him, she needed a break too. Though she kept her force field up, protection shoud attention turn to them. She didn't mind being ignored at all. Plus they seemed to be fighting well enough on their own, she didn't want to go in for them all to turn on her. She glanced as Spidey as one of them, who previously appeared to be their enemy and now seemed to be on their side, ask him for help. It was his choice and she was curious if he would get involved.

 

Allen manage to blast Tremor away from him to see the newcommers show up. I really hope there on our side. He thought as he landed.

 

Phantima frowned and pointed her gun at stone heart but King E pulled her arm down. It seemed he wanted to get a better look at the new threat. Destiny just laughed arrogantly and said "You haven't changed a bit, P- I mean Stone Heart." Destiny laughed again and set his arms and eyes ablaze with fire. "I, on the other hand have changed quite a bit." King E glanced at Destiny with minor amusement. "As you can see," He said targeting his words at Stone Heart "He's grown taller, blonder, tanner, and cockier." Phantisma giggled and Destiny blushed. He leaned close to King E and mumbled "Now don't make me look bad."

 

Stone Heart laughed, a bright merry sound. "Yes, Edwards, I do think our little Destiny-Pestiny is quite the adult now." Now that he was super cocky, how would he react to the old nick-name he had given himself when they were toddlers? Still keeping an eye on Allen and Tremor (Tremor had been hit, but seemed to be winning, haha, take that, Allen!) She slowly flew up into the air, making no sudden movements, until she was eye-level with Destiny. "Isn't that right, cuz?" she asked. "Are you a big boy now?"

 

Tremor rolled backwards, but managed to land upright. He crouched down, bending his legs and using his strength in his legs to launch himself towards Allen at a high speed.

 

"Thats right, Pamela Chantella!" Destiny soared upwards and then plunged like a rocket to the ground again. He had created a small crater in the ground where he had landed. Destiny pulled himself up to his full six feet and then bowed to the greatly amused King E and the stunned and clapping Phantisma.

 

Stone Heart arched her eyebrows skeptically. "Impressive," she said sarcastically. "You must've had to excersize an awful lot to get that strong. How much do you bench?"

 

Destiny smiled at Stone Hearts praise. "A lot. I tend to lose track after 800." Destiny looked at King E and seemed to consider something. "king E can bench more then I can. At least 400 more. And he's considerate too. He let me stay in his house and-" King E stopped Destiny by putting his hand over Destiny's mouth. "Shut up Destiny. I'm not all that, you know."

 

Stone Heart laughed. "Destiny, you are, without a doubt, the most concieted person I've ever known. You really should take a page from King E's book and watch your mouth. unceasing bragging doesn't become you."

 

Okay i'm getting tired of this. Allen thought charging lighting into his hands and feet and charged at Tremor. He knew this wasn't enough to hurt him severely but if they were going for a mutual hit he could at least knock him out.

 

"Oh it becomes me. It becomes me well." At this moment Destiny noticed four girls who were watching him from a distance, all of them were under eighteen. The girls giggled and waved when they saw that Destiny was looking at them. A brave girl (The oldest in the group,) called out "Hi, Destiny." Destiny raised a hand to wave and smiled his most dazzling smile. "How are you girls doing?" He asked. Instead of answering him the four girls exploded in giggles and clutched at one another, exclaiming "He waved at me!" "He smiled at me!" And "He actually Talked to me! I can't breath!" Destiny lowered his hand and looked confused. He shrugged his shoulders and turned back to the group. "The flirts." Commented Phantisma disdainfully. "Whats so funny?" King E was hunched over, holding his side, and laughing so hard he couldn't breath. King E's laughter was loud and full and always made you want to laugh too. In less then a minute Destiny was laughing as well. "I'm not seeing-" Phantisma giggled as King E fell to his knees still laughing like crazy (Apparently he couldn't stop). "I can't see whats so funny-" More giggles. "About those idiotic-" She laughed out right this time as Destiny took to clutching his side and King E started to pound the floor with his fist. "Those idiotic woman." But by now she had excepted that even if that hadn't been funny, King E and Destiny's uncontrolled laughter was very funny and started to laugh with them.

 

Stone Heart watched with disgust. "Destiny, you've changed. A LOT." She walked over to where he and King E were rolling on the ground, and scooping up some of the recently damaged concrete (Destiny had hit the ground with such force as to cause a small crater), she held it suspended high in the air, making it grow until it was the size of a mini van. She knew he couldn't control earth the way she could. It was time to put his strength to the test. "Let's see how funny you think this is." Then, with a flick of her wrist, it went plummeting straight to the four giggling girls. They started screaming and Stone Heart looked at Destiny, challenging him to save them.

 

All three heroes reacted immediately. Destiny flew over and picked up the four girls while Phantisma and King E rushed to take on the boulder. Phantisma blasted it apart with her laser gun while King E pulled an umbrella out of his backpack and held it above their heads as pieces of rock fell around them. Destiny set the hysterical girls down (The youngest one was sobbing), and turned to Pami with disgust. "Thanks, Pami. That was quite a work out. Why don't you try murdering a baby next? That would be quite a challenge." He flew away fast. Phantisma screamed "JERK!" and rushed to King E's car, got in and drove away. King E looked at Stone Heart for a moment, looking almost dissappointed. "Gee, and I thought you were all right." Then he got in his motercycle and drove away.

 

Stone Heart had been laughing at the whole thing until Destiny was talking to her angrily. Then she was desperately trying to keep a straight face. She couldn't do it, though. She wasn't laughing, but she still had a grin on her face. (She was trying to think of where she might find a baby she could borrow to scare Destiny.) And then when Phantisma screamed at her, she couldn't hold it in any longer. She burst out in laughter, holding her sides. But then when King E looked at her, she felt... ashamed. She was still laughing, pride wouldn't let him know he had got to her, but it wasn't funny anymore. After he left, she turned to Allen, glaring more fiercly then she had ever been before. All her anger and shame formed itself into one big rageful emotion of hate, and she screamed "YOU DOUBLE CROSSING JERK!" and flew at him, fire in her eyes and rock in her fist, causing the earth to quake and split behind her.

 

Tremor shifted the angle of his trajectory so that he slammed directly into Allen's wrist.
