It's been several years since the heroes went missing.The world is slowly turning to ruins.The villains fight for control of territory across the world.They terrorize the citizens without mercy.But there is hope.Slowly heroes are emerging.Old faces instantly recognizable by those who remember the Golden Days,as they call the days before the villain outbreak, and new faces hoping to make a change.But many new villains are emerging everyday hoping to come out on top of the vicious power struggle.

Ok so heres how this is gonna work.You can either be a hero or villain.You can be an already existing Marvel character or an OC.If you choose to be an existing character you must know somewhat of their character details.(backstory,some villains,etc...)and under backstory put where they have been/why they were out of action. If you choose to be an OC then you must create a backstory including how they got their powers.If you wish to be an existing villain PM me first.OCs can change sides if you wish.

Backstory: Stefan is an ex-soldier. He left after "the incident". "The Incident" was a lab experiment done to only two soldiers. The first did not survive the brutal injections, the other was Stefan. The chemicals injected into the human brain allowed it some control over the environment, granting the soldier telekinetic powers. He went into hiding to avoid the government, but upon hearing of the villains gradually taking over he decided he had hidden enough. It was time to once more enter battle.
Powers: Telekinesis
Appearance: Black hair, brown eyes. Slightly muscular. 5"9 in height.
Other(if necessary): He has no costume,as he no longer refers to himself as Stefan. The only life he lives now is The Wave's.

Backstory: Born on a planet where superpowers are normal, she was raised with her cousin until terrorists burnt down their town and murdered her parents and baby sister. She and her cousin escaped to earth and found a place where they could be taught to use their special powers. Then her master was murdered and she was blamed for it and she's been a villian ever since.

Real Identity: Destiny Peters
Backstory: Destiny's parents died in a fire when he was just one years old. He lived his uncle and aunt and two cousins on a palent far from earth and could always fly. When his home, along with the rest of the town, was destroyed by terrists he and his oldest cousin left for earth. Destiny soon descoverd other powers that he had and lived in new york for two years.
Age: 16
Powers: Fire bending, and flying, and telepathy. Also he's a genius in a weird way.
Appearance: Blond shoulder length hair and bright blue eyes, Long sleeved white shirt with red trim, light wash blue jeans, and red and white shoes (a lot like Sonic the Hedgehogs). Red small mask.
Hero or Villain?: Hero
Other(if necessary): Every once in a while, when Destiny is really mad, he transforms into Ember, a very powerful villian and then when he's calmed down, he's himself again and doesn't remember he was Ember. Nobody knows. Also, he has a final mode kinda like super sonic. Whenever he drinks coffee, he gets a hyperactive rush. He can't be held responsible for damages in that mode. :D

Real Identity: Sam Moonshine
Backstory: Sam ran away when she was young and learnt the hard way how to handle herself on the streets. Luckly she discovered her powers not long after, and that has allowed her to escape from danger. She witnessed many bad things while on the streets and vowed to learn how to fight to stop them, so no one else goes through what she had seen. She was very determined and found people who took her in and taught her to fight and educated her, giving the vital life skills she needed. Now she has managed to make a life for herself from nothing, she wants to protect those who cannot protect themselves.
Age: 17
Powers: Sam has the ability to pass through solid matter by passing her atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object through which she is moving. In this way she and the object through which she was passing could temporarily merge without interacting, and each is unharmed when she has finished passing through the object. This process was called "phasing." When Sam is phasing, she is, for all intents and purposes, intangible. Hence, when attacked, she can shift into a "phasing" state (even if she is not at the time passing through an object) so as to allow oncoming projectiles or energy blasts to pass through her harmlessly. She can phase with other people/objects as long as she has physical contact with them. She can phase through any material object, even living people. When she phases through an object with an electrical system, the process disrupts the system's workings.

Using her phasing ability she can also walk on air. In fact, she could use her ability to walk on the air from the ground to the upper stories of a building as if she were climbing a staircase. (A sort of alternaive to flying)

She can also create force fields around herself or others.
Appearance: Sam is very petite, which causes her to often be mistaken for much younger than she actually is. She has long blonde hair, seldom tied up and deep blue eyes. She usually wears dark skinny jeans and fitted clothes but rarely wears a skirt or dress.

OOC: man, am I the only villian? I certainly have my work cut out for me. She's not even a real villian, kind of just a fugitive from justice, taking whatever she can get for whatever it costs.

BIC:Meanwhile in a dark forest, a man in his late 20s sat in a tree waiting for something to walk by.He had dark brown hair, was a little on the tall side and was wearing tattered jeans and a dirty tee shirt.He hadn't eaten in 2 days and his emergency supply of water was dangerously low.He laid back as he sighed."Well this may be it for me......"

 

Stefan Morocco sat inside his small, run-down home. It had broken windows, a door with a lock that didn't work, and a few rats running around. It wasn't much, but for the last year it had been his home. It was there he went to get away from it all. Every now and then, while he was in the streets, he'd hear screams of terror and pain. Many years ago, before The Incident, his wife had left him. After the results of a legal battle, he had lost almost all his money and possessions. He had nothing worth living for. So he had decided to go into a special program. Shortly after it he'd gone into hiding, seeing that the government would only want to use him as a weapon of death.

Stefan sighed. It's just too much now....the pain people feel..the terror they must experience...and all the while i sit here, doing NOTHING! he thought angrily. He slammed his fist on his table in anger. "If i wasn't alone...maybe i'd fight. I just don't know.....damnit i'm a coward!!" he yelled angrily. Accidentally using his telekinetic powers, he threw a chair out of the window and into the middle of the street in rage. "Well.....maybe nobody noticed" he said hopefully.

OOC: There's an opening for someone to form a group with Stefan, if anybody's interested lol....

Real Identity: Trevor Carlstone.
Backstory: Trevor was always ridiculed as a child. Ever since he was 6 he'd been nicknamed "Tremor" for his obesity problem. Over the years, he slowly lost weight, but yet people still called him Tremor. One day however,it became too much for him. Something changed that day. Something inside of him..dissappeared. It's possible it was his sanity. He was thrown in a mental hospital for insanity. About a year ago, he found he had powers. He didn't know how he got them..they just sort of happened. In the next few days, he broke out of the mental facility and decided that he would never be picked on again. Now..HE was in charge.
Age: 19
Powers: Super Strength. If he tries hard he can cause small tremors in the ground.
Appearance: Has no costume. He has a nasty scar on his right eye from when he got into a fight with a child at school over his weight. He is around 6"2 in height, has very dark brown hair in a crew cut, and is actually quite skinny. He wears a black T-shirt and camoflauge shorts.
Hero or Villain?: Villain.
Other(if necessary): Mentally unstable. Prone to snap at the worst moments.

 

Sam grinned as she ran down the street, her hair flying out behind her. She was constantly scanning the area around her, she knew from expirience that it can be a dangerous place. But she could handle herself, she needed to keep fit and she was pretty sure she'd go mad if she didn't get out of that damn building. There was even a chance she might see some of her old friends but she knew better than to be hopeful about that. She shook her head and ran faster, determined to push herself and improve.

She rounded the corner, just in time to see a random chair come flying out of a window of a nearby house. "What the..." She said in suprise as she wheeled to a halt, although she guessed she'd been around here long enough to expect the unexpected. She automatically phased incase of any more flying furniure and edged forward to where the chair had come from. Already her famous curiousity up to it's old tricks, she knew it could be a big mistake but she really wanted to find out what was going on and if she could help. She was phasing and untouchable anyway, so she could always get out if it got nasty. "Hello?" She said as she approached the house.

 

Stone Heart was waiting. Waiting for something, anything to happen. She had succesfully built a small hideout, deep underground. There was no entrance or exit. Due to her powers, she could pass through solid earth without needing air. It was just like flying, but in the ground. She was safe down here... she had a bed, a kitchenette, and several computers, all personally modified to fit her needs. But she couldn't stay cooped up here forever. She had to go DO something. she was getting restless. So, up she went through the ground until she came out into a dark alleyway. Breathing the fresh air (something there wasn't much of underground), she slowly walked through the city, looking for something to do. There was no need to wear a mask. Everyone knew she was Pamela Peters. why protect an identity that was as wanted as she was?

 

Destiny was flying around looking for somthing to do when he saw Pamela. Normally he always had somthing to do. Sving people and that sort of thing, but right now he was so bored. "Pami!" Destiny called, flying toward her. Destiny had always called her 'Pami'. Pami might not recognize me, thought Destiny, I'm wearing a mask and we haven't seen each other in two years. But I'm the only one who calls her Pami.

 

Pamela turned at the sound of her old nickname. Of course she recognized Destiny, a mask couldn't hide his shoulder length blonde hair and trademark outfit. Besides, even if they couldn't communicate telapathically, she had seen his picture in plenty of papers. He was a superhero now. "Hi Destiny...." She wasn't sure what to say. Didn't he remember what had happened all those years ago? Why she had run away? He wasn't so friendly when he thought she murdered their master.

 

Stefan froze in place. "Damnit...i've got to be more careful" he said. He, using his telekinetic powers, began levitating a knife in the air. As he rounded a corner he saw a girl standing outside. He quickly opened the door and launched the knife towards the girl, aiming it so that it landed right at her feet. "Who are you?" he demanded.

 

Her only reaction to the knife was her eye brows lifting in suprise, she knew even if it hit her the knife would simply pass straight through her. Although she was glad to see it only land at her feet. Still not the best of reactions to her and she was beginning to wonder if this was a bad idea. But she figured she might as well go with it since she'd started. She paused, wondering if she should tell him her actual name or not. "I'm Sam" She said, deciding that since she was in her normal clothes, she'd go with her real name. "I was just wondering if you were okay"

 

Stefan shrugged his shoulders. Military training had taught him to reveal only necessary information. I guess i'm not in the military anymore though he thought to himself. "Had better days" he said. He wasn't entirely sure how much he should tell Sam. Hell..for all i know she could be a government spy trying to take me back.

 

Sam nodded with a friendly smile, "Well can I help in any way? Or even just be someone to talk to? It's way too easy to be alone and trapped here." She said quietly walking towards him slightly, simple good will in her voice. She figured this place was bad enough and if she could make one person feel better, then surely it's a good thing. She'd seen some of the stuff that went on and just wanted to make this place better.
