Phantom managed to stop the Bear's blow, but it was still pushing. He was struggling to hold it back. It's claws were mere inches away from leaving permanent scars on his face. "Relying on the forms of animals. Sounds kind of cowardly if you ask me." He tried to push back the bears claw-readied paw, but only managed to move it maybe an inch. He had also just noticed that he was also being attacked by another opposing mutant, one that took the form of some kind of wolf. "I'm one popular mofo today, aren't I?" He thought, unsure of how to handle this 3-on-1.

 

Demetrio had the most evil smirk on his face well well well how about this I got an opponent who can actually stop my attacks he held both of his hands out the shadows started to move across the ground and pull up shadowy looking monsters and they charged towards whiteout

 

"Scott? I have to tell you something. There's something strange in-"
"Not now, Jean! The Brotherhood's here, and Deadpool's with them!" Cyclops yelled as he dove to the side as Deadpool's laser grazed his leg. He could have blocked it with his own, but then he wouldn't be able to shoot his own laser at Deadpool. As long as he keeps his distance, I have a better chance. Cyclops thought to himself hoping Deadpool couldn't read his thought bubbles.


Scorch's pink hair started swaying, as if it were flames as he aimed his palm towards the upcoming tree. The tree instantly caught aflame. Another force of heat slowed the tree down and Scorch ducked, letting the tree fly over him. "Now I'm heated," he told Hellion as he narrowed his eyes and stood up. "It's not like me to flame on this quickly, but something about you," he looked to the side, the flaming tree was starting to spread its flames, "just burns me up inside." He raised a hand towards Hellion and a fireball appeared. "I'm going to burn the skin off of that pretty face of yours!" He let the fireball fly towards Hellion, but, just like Hellion's attack, it was a distraction. Another fireball appeared in his other hand and he flung to the other side, hoping to cause two separate fires.

"Grrrraaaah!" Wolfman let out an intimidating roar as he fell from the sky, landing on top of one Knightmare's shadow wraiths. He raised a superstrong and clawed hand and brought it down with all of his strength on the shadow's head. "Can you take both of us on?" He asked in another growl.

There was a flash of red in the sky before a large red crystal, bigger than a car, streaked across the sky like a meteor. Inside, two humanoid figures could be seen, but neither moved. The crystal landed in a field, causing a mini explosion and a huge crater to form. The crystal started to glow and disappeared, leaving behind brown and white haired teenager and a glowing humanoid monster. The monster seemed to emanate fire as it stood up. The lights from the crystal turned into 7 miniature lights: green, yellow, blue, red, orange, violet, and indigo. The lights streaked in different directions. The monster itself jumped into the air and started flying. The teenager, however, laid face down, unconscious.


Logan, I need you to do something. Professor X's voice rang in Wolverine's head. Please meet me in the courtyard. It's urgent.

 

"A bear, a werewolf, and living lightning have you surrounded." Feral stated, taking a step back after his last attack. "What do you think speed is going to let you do against those odds?"

Deadpool was very dissapointed at the lack of explosions. Knightmare had promised him explosions.
"What use is an explosive gun that doesn't explode?!" he yelled angrily.

"Tell me you're not serious?"

"Hey! I didn't come here to get backchatted by my own thought bubbles!" he yelled, much to the confusion of anyone around him. Surely this scene looked all kinds of weird to those watching.
"Fine, have it your way!" he yelled again, hurling the weapon at Cyclops's face. "Suck it, blue!"

 

The monster that had emerged from some crystal like substance took off flying at great speed. "Looks like I'm not in Kansas anymore. he muttered with a weird voice... stating some odd movie that he could not recall.
He had no idea what had just happened, 'nor did he care. He paid no heed to the teen that had been next to him before-hand either.
He continued to fly towards a certain location. Certain that the mutant he was looking for was there.

 

Logan had the fridge door open and was looking for something better to drink than soda and water when he heard Professor X. He'd thought he would get the whole afternoon to himself since everyone seemed to be concerned about training the kids. He pushed the door of the fridge closed, grumbling something about the lack of alcohol in the school, and walked out to the courtyard to see what it was that Professor X wanted.
"What's urgent is this place's need of beer," The comment was mostly just him talking to himself, but Professor X probably heard it as Logan came to stand next to him.

 

Demetrio saw the beam and teleported a bit to the right moving out of its path over here brightness. he held both hands out and started to glow good now lets see how you fare against more than 3 this time a small army of the dark troops appeared with weapons like axes, swords and other bladed weapons. the one menacing thing about this army is as long as he does not lose his focus they are going to keep coming charge!

 

Phantom dropped to his knees. "You're right. I give." He looked to the ground, "I see why Xavier trusts in you guys..." A small smirk grew on his face, "...You're all a bunch of cocky little brats!" After he said that, he sped in a circle around the three mutants, and stepping away from them, a small silver device in his hand, with his thumb on a red button. "I wouldn't try anything stupid if I were you. One wrong move and I'll blow you sky-high. Of course if you have the Regenerative Healing Factor, you'll probably end up ok." Phantom was using one of his last-ditch effort Kunia Knives: A Remote Controlled explosive Kunia. It is similar to the one he used earlier, except it is remotely detonated, has an extremely adhesive surfaces (except for the handle), and the resulting explosion is more powerful. "Now, you come with me. I'll have Deadpool decide what needs to be done. You'd just better hope that your high-and-mighty boss Cyclops doesn't do anything stupid."

 

Cyclops thought Deadpool was desperate, throwing a weapon at him. The X-Men leader smirked and fired a beam at the weapon...causing it explode. "BAAAAAH!" The mutant was thrown backwards by the explosion, landing on his back, rolling off of it, then returning to his back. We need to get the New Mutants out of here! He thought as he started to stand up.


Scorch smiled and raised both hands, sending as much heat and fire towards the upcoming tree as possible. By the time the tree hit him, it was barely solid. The impact knocked him down, but the tree was already disintegrating, breaking apart upon hitting him. He was surrounded by fire, but this only made him smile more. "Here we go!" He jumped up and spread his arms out, causing the fire around him to spread greatly: he was setting the entire forest on fire. "Look what you did, X-boy," the evil mutant smirked. "Not only are you burning this place down, but you're giving me more ammo!" Scorch yelled and the flames expanded even faster. While he wasn't able to control fire, he could expand it. He expanded it once more and built another fireball in his hand. "Now it's time for hardball!" He threw the fireball at Hellion, giving him a choice: Focus on Scorch's attack or save the forest. Either way, Scorch had a back up plan.



Professor X smiled. "Sorry old friend, but this is a school," he turned to face Wolverine, "And having too much alcohol around might...tempt the students. Regardless, that's not why I asked you here." Professor X paused for a moment and placed his hands together in front of him, touching his fingertips together. "Cerebro's damaged, Logan. It detected a strange mutant energy. It was unlike anything I've ever seen. It was not a person, it was...pure mutant power. The moment Cerebro detected this, it shorted out. Logan," Professor X's eyes narrowed.

 

Logan put back the cigar he had been taking out -- he couldn't do anything around here, could he? -- and shrugged, completely perplexed by what Professor X had said. Something that was pure mutant energy? And it broke Cerebro?? What was he supposed to do about it?
"What?" He looked down at Professor X. "You want me to go investigate or something?"

 

After Cyclops had ignored her, Bree slowly made her way over to the others and on reaching them regretted not going faster. She hid just in time to see Phantom trap the others with the kuma. She had to do something, but what? She wasn't scared for herself, he shouldn't be able to touch her but she was more scared she'd get the others killed. She could short circuit the device but she didn't know if that would deactivate it or make it explode and she didn't want to take the risk. She could always phase them out of there but she'd have to reach them before he notices in case he blew them up before she reached them and then there was the risk of her setting it off. She shouldn't do but what if she did? Either way she had to wait until Phantom was distracted before she did anything.

 

"Got nothing to say? Fine. Deadpool awaits." He said, leading the three towards Deadpool. "You three really had me there for a second. But you let your guard down, a fatal mistake in most fights." Phantom noticed that Deadpool was still in the middle of a fight with Cyclops, so he decided to wait. "You're lucky. You get to watch Deadpool mercilessly beat your beloved leader to death before he sees you." Phantom stood behind the three, still watching Deadpool.

OOC: I don't want to end up having to "kill" them, so I made Phantom get distracted on Deadpool's fight. Now's your cue, Star.

 

OOC: Let me know if I misunderstood what the kuna is.

Bic: Bree took her chance and sprinted out to the others as quickly and as quietly as she could. She paused just before the circle, motioning for them to be quiet as she prayed this would work. "Grab hold off me, or eachother, and whatever you do, don't break contact." She whispered before carfully phasing into the circle, biting her lip. Once in and it hadn't gone off, she quickly grabbed two of their hands, and phased once all of them were connected. "Come on" She whispered and started to move quickly out of the circle and towards saftey. She'd never phased this many people before and she could already feel it draining her stregnth. But she had to do this.

Except the one's Phantom was using were red and had a sticky surface except for the handle. Since they are phased I'll just have them fall to the ground since, if I understand right, phase means to go through things.

BIC:
Phantom heard something hit the ground behind him, it sound like metal. He turned around only to see that his captives were gone. "Crap. Looks like I'll have to round them up again, wherever they are." He gathered up the knives and began to hunt them down.

 

"Thanks." Feral said bluntly, before shifting back to his wolf form.
"I have no idea of what to do from here. The Brotherhood have an advantage."
It was true; the Brotherhood mutants seemed to have more power than they did, likely because they were trained to use their powers but not to hold back anything.
Despite the New Mutants numbers, Feral knew it was all too likely they would lose in a drawn-out battle.

"Aha! Throwing your sword always works!" Deadpool cheered.

"You're a trope!" he yelled at is inner voice, in yet another demonstration of his amazing maturity.

"Good, whatever."
Suddenly, something dawned on him, and he began laughing.
"Oh geez, it wasn't a gun that fires exploding lasers! It was an exploding gun that fires lasers!
When he said he was giving me an 'exploding laser gun', I didn't think he was being literal!"
He abruptly stopped, drawing a matching pair of submachine guns.
"Joke's over." he said, suddenly serious, as he began firing round after round straight at the X-man ahead of him.

 

Now's my chance to help. Sora thought seeing Phantom leave. He knew he would have to be careful as he followed him, so he made sure he didn't do anything that would attrach attention to himself when he started to follow.

 

"Damn it," Cyclops grumbled as he started moving. His plan? Avoid Deadpool's shots and fire his own. And that's exactly what he did. What's Magneto playing at? Hiring Wilson? And why send them here? He had one last resort ready, but wasn't sure what situation it would put him in.


"Hot damn," Scorch said, smiling, "I wasn't expecting that, X-Boy." He placed his palms in front of him, this time focusing both of them into a fireball instead of one. Making sure to keep his balance, he made a fireball the size of his chest. "But that means I can do this!" He threw the fireball forward, straight at Hellion's chest.


Professor X nodded. "Not just you, Logan, but all of the X-Men. Jubilee, Storm, and Shadowcat will stay here with the students. You and the others will go investigate," Professor X dropped his head slightly, "I'll send Scott and Julian once they return. Hopefully, it'll be-yes, Jean? Excuse me, Logan." The professor closed his eyes, listening to what Jean was telling him in his mind. "Magnus...what are you playing at?" He quickly looked back up at Logan. "Change of plans. It seems the Brotherhood is after the Paragons and X-Force. Cyclops says Deadpool is leading them. The disturbance can wait. Wolverine is needed. You know where Cyclops took them, correct?"
