Demetrio looked at phantom actually anything i have put in here can be pulled out of this vortex it's like a bottomless closet he looked at scorch I'm coming he dived into the portal and came out closer to scorch fine point me at the one you want to

 

"On my way." Phantom said, speeding over to Scorch. He readied a Kunai knife in each hand, holding them backwards, and prepped himself to run into battle. "Gimme a target." He said, ready to fight.

 

Cyclops left hand was still on his visor, but he didn't fire. "Why are you with the Brotherhood?" He asked, serious, but calmly.

Scorch's hands shot up quickly to block the girl's attack, but the attack was blasted aside with not so much as a thought. Or maybe it was a thought. "Ah~ what is it with the X-Men and you mind freaks?" Scorch asked Hellion as he smiled. "And come on, don't you teach your students how to banter appropriately? I mean, 'you say no girls allowed, but I'll take you down!' What is that?" He laughed at the girl's direction. "She might as well have said that she'll put a shock to my system, it's just as horridly lame!" He couldn't but laugh as his body heat increased, smoke emanating from it. It was then that Knightmare and the new guy showed up. "You two want targets? Take care of the kiddies for me," he bent his arms and a large amount of smoke appeared in his palms, "I want to play with the pretty boy." He winked as the smoke spiraled into balls of flame. "Catch!" He threw both balls towards Hellion.

"Aaahhhhh-" Wolfman's back arched, "ROOOOOOOOOO!!!!" He let out a loud howl as he readied himself. It wasn't instinct, he was in complete control as Wolfman. In this form, there was no wolf instinct or personality. But he changed. The way he thought, his personality, etc. It was a minor change in each, but it made his subconscious act as if he had been born and raised as a werewolf. Professor X called it a second process of thought, only barely different from the original, but a second one nonetheless. There was Jonah Terrance as 'Terry' and there was Jonah Terrance as 'Wolfman.' Terry found it too confusing to even fathom that Wolfman was another thought proces, but still him and his memories, but he often found himself referring to himself as Wolfman in his thoughts in that form, possibly hinting that it's true. Another theory was that his Wolfman personality was actually 'Lycan,' Terry's true other, influencing him. Either way, he often found himself howling. "Fine, I'll rip you to shreds," He said to the other two 'HoodBrothers' as he called them, "Then I'll burn that little worm myself!" He was surprised that he actually barked at the end and reached for his neck, hoping his Adamantium necklace was still on and, thankfully, it was.

 

Demetrio held a hand out and the shadow of it stretched over whiteout caught you the hand reached out of the ground and tried to clamp down

 

Scorch's words and everything that just happened hit Ellie's confidence hard, and she didn't have a lot of confidence to begin with.
She dropped to her knees almost... feeling like she was being weighed down by her uselessness.

Phantom quickly noticed that Scorch's comment toward the girl of the opposing squad had hit hard, causing her to let her guard down just a bit, which was the perfect opening for him. "Perfect time to try out my new toy." He said, putting away one of his Kunai and replacing it with a red one. This red Kunai was a timed explosive Kunai, it's fuse lasts for roughly 3-5 seconds, and gives of a beeping noise that heightens in pitch the closer it gets to going off. "Your mine!" He said, "teleporting" over to the girl, tossing the explosive knife into the ground next to her as he sped by. "This better work."

 

Ellie only had time to look down and bring up a Polarity wall as the kunai exploded.
Her 'shield' took some of the damage but she was hit hard by it, being lifted off of her feet and sent into the air where she landed hard on the floor. Her shield had served another purpose though as it had made it so the explosion was directed away from her friends.
She didn't move for a few moments as she just lay there, but she then managed to place her hands on the floor and try to push herself up... but she failed.
She was too hurt by the attack.
...She needed time, she could already feel the bio-electricity in her body speeding up and affecting her healing rate. Her 'Pulse Heal'...
Everything in the body is effected by bio-electrical chemicals, and her mutant body being able to control them seemed to automatically kick this nifty little healing effect in every time she needed it.. It was her bodies way of keeping her alive.
Her injuries where starting to visibly heal. Albeit somewhat slow, but it was good enough..
Still... she felt more useless than before. She had dropped her guard and it was things like this that could endanger her team mates...
...a tear came from her eye, partially from the already numbed pain, and from her feeling of uselessness. ...Why... Why am I a mutant?
Why did I have to become one.. I was happy in my life... but now.. I can't find my place in this new one.
She wasn't normally the type to feel sorry for herself.. but right now... she truly felt lost, as she just continued to lay there.

 

"Two reasons, bucko!" Deadpool answered.
"One, because that's what I'm being paid to do."
"And two; because the plot needed somebody to lead the Brotherhood for this plot to work!"

"Shut up, little yellow boxes!"

Feral saw the Kunai on the ground right next to Ellie, about to go off while she was distracted. He wouldn't be fast enough to stop it, but he would be fast enough to protect her afterwards.
Sure enough, it detonated, apparently harming her fairly badly.
He jumped in front of her, assuming the from of the Polar Bear again. He had other forms, but he tended to stick to those he knew he could use well.
"Don't be afraid, Ellie." Feral said to her as he stood in front of her, having briefly seen her tears, which also apparently brought back his memory of her name.
"You have a strong ability, you're young, and you're a good person. Right here, among the X-men, is definitely where you belong. It doesn't matter that we don't all know each other well, or that there's no blood shared between us, we're a family. And no matter what, this family looks out for each other, and helps one other to grow. If you can't protect yourself right now, then we will do it for you, and one day, I know you will be able to do the same for us."

 

Wolfman let out a bark as he quickly followed after Phantom. Wolfman didn't have what other people called 'super' speed, but he was able to keep up with a normal sized car at normal speed, plus he had better reflexes and enhanced senses. Phantom may be faster, but he couldn't escape Wolfman's perception. "Hellion! We need to get Ellie out of here," he growled as he dove onto all fours and let out a blast of white energy from his mouth towards Phantom. He didn't believe it, they outnumbered the Brotherhood, but they were at a disadvantage.

Quickly throwing his arms up to brace himself, Scorch found himself flying back. He hit the ground, let out a groan as his body went numb for a moment, and rolled back onto his feet. "Oh come on, Hellion," he said, gathering his opponent's name and find it coincidental his opponent was named Hellion, "just admit that I make you hot!" He started to run forward as his body temperature increased. He'd leave a good burn if he could make contact with any part of Hellion's body. As a back up plan, he started to build a fireball in his left hand as he raised his right fist to 'burnpunch' Hellion's face.


"Hey, Scott?"
Cyclops heard Jean Grey's voice in his ear, but he only responded, "Not now, Jean, we got a problem." He let out another blast towards Deadpool, worried that the mercenary hadn't attacked him yet.

 

After the successful explosion and impact of the explosive Kunai on it's target, Phantom noticed that she wasn't getting up. In fact, it looked like she was crying. He moved closer to the girl, keeping his guard up. He picked her up, positioned himself behind her, and put a knife to her neck. He had no intention of dealing a fatal blow unless absolutely necessary. "Why don't you fight back? If it had been Deadpool who knocked you down, he'd have killed you on the spot." He could tell that the girl was in some kind of emotional distress. He looked to the Polar Bear form, the knife still in position. "Stay still and I promise your lives will remain."

 

"Oh, we're getting back to the fighting and the flailing and 'pow-pow!' now? Great!" Deadpool yelled happily.
He took the blast on his chest, knowing that just one shot would just push him back and hurt a bit.
Which it did.

"Oh yeah?! Well most people don't have explosive laser guns!" he replied to the little yellow box, firing the laser that had been given to him by Knightmare once, aimed at Cyclops.

The Brotherhood mutant had obviously underestimated the distance between them, since he seemed to think that he was far enough away to not do anything in time.
Then again, this Brotherhood member seems to have superspeed as at least one of his powers. Those kunai might be part of his powers, but at the same time there's a chance they're not and he has some other power hidden. This would take some good speaking.
"So you think you're going to hurt her? Even kill her? Let me tell you, if you do that there is nothing stopping me from ripping you into little portions of meat." he said, meaning every word.
"You think I won't do it? That I'm 'a good-guy' and won't have the guts? Look at what I am right now. Do you really want to test me? Leave."

 

Ellie stood there with the knife at her throat... the injuries she had sustained weren't completely healed yet... but they were still doing their thing.
Being taken as a hostage meant nothing to her... she knew that this just made things worse for the others who would have to watch their movements so she wouldn't get killed...
"Not anymore..." one more tear escaped from her eye, and then... it stopped.
"Hey... speedfreak." she spoke to phantom.
"You know what the human body is a great conductor of?"
...her body was already on a higher charge due to her injuries healing. Suddenly, she let the electricity flow throughout her body, and right into Phantom himself, blowing him back and away from her immediately. "Electricity..."
His knife caught her neck slightly, but it hadn't caught an artery since the many volts of electricity that had just gone into the Brotherhood mutant had made his aim go slightly off.
Ellie dropped to her knees again, but at least the Brotherhood mutant was away from her, and should be out of commission for this period of time.
She also felt the cut on her neck start to heal up.

 

Feral smirked to himself, but since he was currently a polar bear it ended up looking very odd.
"Feel better now?" he asked Ellie, the girl having apparently found some confidence now. Just as he had hoped.

 

The large surge of electricity that surged into his body was pain unlike he had ever felt. It was preventing him from moving correctly, so he couldn't go back in to attack again. "T-To think I f-felt sorry for y-you." The electricity was causing him to stutter, but it was slowly wearing off. He stood up and tried to run at them, but there was still electricity surging in his legs, which caused them to spasm and make it nearly impossible to run. Instead of trying to attack again, he thought he'd try mind games. "Why do you fight for those inferior humans? We mutants are clearly the superior species, yet those lower life forms treat us like monsters." He felt that the electricity had worn off, but he gave the impression he was still being affected by it. "You two would make great additions to the Brotherhood. Won't you come with me?" He gave an evil-ish smile and held out a hand, hoping at least one of them would be convinced. His plan was for one to grab his hand and then he would attack.

 

Ellie looked at Phantom... she was still on her knees... but her wounds were healing faster, and she managed to stand.
She knew her answer.
"I may be a mutant... but I was born a human, to a human family... I haven't forsaken my humanity..
I believe in what Mr. Xavier told us... that one day, humans will accept us.
So... I won't come with you.
Forsaking my humanity means I'll be forsaking myself.."
She was shaking a little, but the look in her eyes was strong. "I may feel out of place right now... but I won't always feel like this. I'll gain control of my powers.. and I'll fight if I have to." she stuttered, "So you don't even need to feel sorry for me."
She then looked at him, dead on. "You can stop faking that the electricity is still affecting you. I can feel that it isn't any more." she told him, but this also served as a warning to her friends not to think it was safe to go near him.

 

Feral shrugged slightly.
"I'm a bear. Touch my hand and I'll pull yours off."
Blunt, but it would get his point across, he was sure.

 

Phantom lowered his hand and smirked. "Smart little duo, aren't you?" He readied two more knives, "But since you won't accept my "offer", I'm afraid that I have to carry out my first mission: Kill you." He sped over to Feral and kneed him in his Polar Bear Stomach to create some distance, then hit Ellie across the face with the knife's handle. Hitting her sent a small surge of electricity through his hand, almost causing him to drop his knife. "Hitting this girl is almost impossible without getting shocked." He thought about what to do, whilst keeping an eye on the two other mutants.

 

"I'm. A. Bear." he growled, angry at the Brotherhood mutant's attacks. "You aren't going to move me unless I want to move!"
Feral reared up on his back legs and swung quickly straight at the man's face, claws bared. It was an incredibly harsh thing to do, since a direct hit would, at the very least, scar the guy's face, but he was getting angry at this one's insistence on annoying the two of them. And while Ellie seemed to have gathered her courage, it was impossible to tell if it would be enough against this persistent guy.
