Demetrio slipped beside him "how about we break up those newbies training spot nothing demoralizes like a bomb to the face

 

Ellie panicked again as she tried to react instantly.
She whipped her hand around in front of her and charged the air with a current of electricity that flowed from her body.
Creating a constant flow of energy that formed into a solid energy electrical shield in front of her.
It was something she had been practising for a while now under the suggestion of one of the older X-Men...
she wanted to learn something defensive, and also, controlling the electricity in such a dense and formed, compressed way would hopefully increase her control in other fields of her power.
She called it the 'Polarity Wall.'
The problem now was though...
in practice... it would take her a few minutes to do this somewhat effectively...
Right now... she had to do it in just a few seconds...
This was the first time she had managed to as well.
Although, it was imperfect since she had rushed to make it.
"Waaaahh!"
While the Polarity Wall took the brunt of the attack, it broke apart instantly and while it stopped the other attack completely, the force of it blew poor Ellie backwards a few metres making her land hard on her back.

 

OOC: The one who I was fighting with has been banned so I'm not too sure what I'm doing.

BIC: Bree wandered away from Whirlpool, looking to see if the rest of her team were still fighting. She wasn't sure what to do now, she'd already finished her fight, she supposed that she could just help any of her team who needed it or possibly get into a new fight, though she wasn't too keen on the latter option.

 

"I'll tell you what you're doing!" Deadpool yelled as he warped using his belt in front of Bree.
"Now you get Deadtroll'd!"
He hurled the bomb directly at Whirlpool. Explosions ensue.
The explosion eveloped the two X-men, not hitting Deadpool since he used his belt to warp back out of the range of the explosive and next to the Brotherhood mutants.
"Hey bud, you've got some pretty good 'splodin' stuff right there." he commented to Dimetrio, before turning to Scorch.
"Feel like whipping up a little forest fire there, heatboy?" he asked him, possibly enjoying himself too much.

OOC: I have no idea how big the explosion would be, other than it being enough to cover those two. I guess that's up to AmericanSephiroth, since it's his power.

 

Bree phased as Deathpool appeared in front of her, "What the..No!!" She turned as he threw the bomb, just in time to see Whirlpool disappear in flames. "Whirlpool!!" She was still phased which was a good thing as had she not the explosion would of badly injured her at least. Debree hurled through her body and the flames licked at her. "No, no, no!" Her eyes widened and she ran towards where the explosion had been and now there was just a fire. Her eyes blurred and she forced herself to stop. She was phased but she could still feel the heat and she knew running into a fire wasn't the best idea. He had come from nowhere and he'd been in the centre of the blast. She just wanted to wake up right now and for this to be a nightmare or for him to jump out from behind a tree saying 'Gottcha' or it to all be theatricals. This was just a training excercise, they weren't hurting eachother properly. She just kept hoping he got out but she knew the chances were low.

 

"Aw come on." Sora thought as feral became a boa constrictor and coiled around his legs, forcing him down. He figured he could continue with his plan and blast him point blank with a powerful fireball, the only problem was that he'd probably burn his own legs in the process. Then it hit him, if he couldn't burn him from the outside he'd burn him from the inside. Soon he began to focus his internal heat to the part of his legs the Feral was coiled around. The longer he held on. the hotter his legs would get.

 

Feral let out a short laugh through his vibration-speak.
"A snake isn't exactly an attacking form. You really think I planned on sticking like this?" he asked his opponent.
He changed again, this time back to his wolf form, crouched over with his head lowered towards his opponent's neck, teeth bared. He stopped short of doing any damage.
"In a real fight, I think both of us would be dead by now." he stated, climbing off of Sora. "I was too reckless."
He suddenly heard an explosion from a distance away. Nobody he knew of had explosive powers!
"We're needed, let's go!" he said to Sora, before running off in the direction he heard it from.

 

"Alright then"Sora said hearing the explosion and following behind Feral. He had no idea what cause the explosion, either way another fight was about to happen. "What do you think cause the blast?"He asked catching up to Feral.

 

"It could be anything, but I don't think it's friendly. Be prepared for another fight." Feral suggested, before turning back to him.
"Just one question." he began, turning to look at him while they ran.
"How the hell are you keeping up with me in this form?"

 

OOC; that explosion was enough to level a building just saying so good thing no normal people were there

BIC; Demetrio smiled well thank you deady hehehe he held his hand to the floor a black portal appeared allright kids its grabbag time reach into the portal and pull out your prize.

 

OOC: Dr_Wigglz is kicked out of the RP for the moment for being banned so Whirlpool is killed off. But let's just ignore his existence. No need to waste several posts mourning him.

"And that's how a real X-Man does the jo-" Cyclops' victory was short-lived. He was hit by Hellion's blast and sent flying back into a tree, the tree snapping in half as he went through. "Awwwooorrghh," he groaned as he laid on his back. "Anybody get the number of that truck?" He asked as he struggled to stand up. He had sparred with Jean, the love of his life, enough to know that there was no way to block a telepathic blast. His optic blast wouldn't do any good, it'd just get deflected as well. Suddenly, the explosion rocked his world from a distance. He quickly ran his squad members' names and abilities through his head. The twins? Air. Feral? Can vibrations cause that? Whiteout's powers can't make a blast like that either. Besides, not his style. He started to worry and quickly looked at Hellion. "Yo, any of your Paragons cause that explosion?"

Wolfman's ears twitched and smoke filled his nostrils. What the hell? An explosion. Someone's having fun! He thought with envy as he looked at his opponent. "Your friends sure know how to throw a party, Anime or whatever your name is," He said it with a smile, showing his fangs as he arched his back.


"You take the guppies," Scorch said as he readied himself, "I have bigger fish to fry!" He took off, leaving Deadpool and Knightmare behind him. His skin started to heat up, but he refrained from setting the forest on fire.




What's going on? Where am I? Blue eyes opened, but the only thing visible was the entire spectrum of colors, shown through glass. The body belonging to the eyes couldn't move, but the person could still feel another's presence. Who's there?! The mind asked, but the mouth made no sound. The only thing the person knew, when he received no answer, was that he was traveling, seemingly flying. From where and where to was just another mystery.

 

"Anemos," he corrected as he lowered his hand and the barrier of air with it. The explosion had distracted him. Was it possible for Cyclops to create something like that? Unless he hit something explosive. Could Hellion do that? Anemos didn't know.
"What was that?" Thyella asked of her brother and Wolfman. "None of us can do that. Can any of the Paragons do that?" She was nervous now, keeping a hand on her brother's arm to steady herself.

 

Wolfman let out a low growl. "I don't like the sound of that, man. I never seen any Paragons do something like that." He turned around so his tail was to Anemos and his twin, not asking where she came from. He lifted his nose into the air, letting the breeze carry the forest's scents to him. "Uh oh. I don't recognize those scents!" He growled again. His first thought was more X-Men joining, but he knew their scents from sniffing around the mansion. "Come on! Hitch a ride," He said, looking back at the other two. He got on all fours, and arched his back. "I got room. We gotta get there quick!"

 

Without hesitating, Anemos grabbed his sister's hand and manipulated the air to get the both of them quickly onto Wolfman's back. There was no need form him to suspect a dirty trick at this point; all three of them wanted the same question answered. He and Thyella suddenly had the same thought: Wolfman had said scents not scent. Could it be the explosion was caused by more than one person? On purpose?
"Okay, let's go." Anemos held onto Thyella's waist to keep her steadily in front of him.

 

Ellie looked over at the direction of the explosion, she didn't care anymore about the minor pain in her back from the impact, she could already feel the pain vanishing and any scratches healing.
She then looked at Whiteout."We don't..." she confirmed, ignoring the fact that if she wanted to, she could probably make a big boom herself.
...She focused for a second, trying to predict and plan the next actions. Everyone else would be heading to the source of the explosion too, she was sure of it, and while she may not be useful in a fight right now.
She had other things she could do to help.
She nodded at him, unaware that he had just been tempted to leave her.

 

"Let's go!" Cyclops yelled after Hellion as he ran. It took a few minutes, but he quickly saw the source of the explosion. "DEADPOOL?!" What was the merc doing? Did someone put a hit on the X-Men? He looked and saw one of the New Mutants, but it wasn't an X-Force member. "What are you doing here, Wilson?!" He yelled as he stopped running. A hand flew to his visor, but no blast was fired. He made sure to keep his distance. "Hellion, be careful," he told his ally. "Get your student to safety. I'll handle Deadpool."

Scorch could hear the X-Men before he saw them, but he quickly ducked behind a tree. He ducked, careful not to be seen as a mutant flew above him and Cyclops ran by. Don't recognize the pretty boy, but there goes our favorite optic blaster, he thought as he waited for them to go by. Now, where are my fish? He asked himself as he ran in the direction that Cyclops and the other mutant came from.


Wolfman's body tingled. "Can't say I ever let two people ride me before...or anybody for that matter. But hang on, yo!" After he said, he bent his knees and released them, lunging forward. The moment his front paws hit the ground, he was running. On all fours, he was fast. He was strong as Wolfman. But he was being weighed down a bit. He could smell smoke more and more as they got closer. "What are your powers?" He asked suddenly to his riders.

 

Ellie looked up ahead and noticed the form of her Team Leader, just like Whiteout had said.
"Without a doubt!" she answered him back.
