Kingdom Hearts II Marluxia is THE best...

Marluxia is not gay. I don't think he's gay. And it never showed anything that hints he's gay. In fact, he acted very manly and testeroned for someone who fluffed sakura petals. Like I said before.

1. Flowers are considered quite manly in Japan. Or at least not sexist in any way.
2. It's not simply "flower petals" that he spews, is sakura petals, which represent...DEATH.
3. Pink is the color of the sakura petals, honoring the fallen warrior.
4. He has the power of nature (that has life and death). He has a scythe.

What I hate about the whole Marluxia thing, is the freakin' stereotype. "OMGZ HE WEARSPINKheGAY!!!$&%r^". I don't like the judgement and ignorance in it. Despite that is only a video game character, you see what the general public think.

Though, I'm sure they do it to make fun and joke around, since Marluxia calls for it, and easy is to pick on him (I do it myself sometimes, but not because he really is a homosexual). I doubt they're really serious....if they are serious...well, I'll refrain from saying anything.

So don't get so mad.

And, think about it. Marluxia was supposed to be a girl, so Nomura accomodated whatever features he had in mind and made Marluxia what he is today. I have to say, he does show some metro vibe at least, but I don't think he is either.

In fact, Marluxia, the moment I saw him, looked dangerous, if not, deadly. It didn't matter the pink he had, you can tell by his attitude, words, and seriouness, that he wasn't someone to cross.

 

Your whole argument basically boils down to "lol gay men can't be manly am i rite". Assuming that he's not gay because he's "manly" (a matter of subjective opinion) is just as bad as assuming that he is because he likes pink. Stereotypes don't defeat other stereotypes.

Why don't people just realize that some characters have no set sexuality and let everybody extrapolate from there? You'd think calling a fictional character gay is akin to heresy by the way some people react.

 

Actually,Marluxia was supposed to be agirl to balance out Larxene(Poor girl) then Tetsuya suddenly makes him a guy.Maybe it's to support the whole overthrow the organization thing.

 

Not being sexist or anything, but I think he works better as a dude. Even with the flowers.

 

Marluxia is awesome. He's been my favorite Organization character since CoM. It's all about the scythe dude. I admit he has his flower moments, but he's a killer and that is awesome

Lol. Marluxia, in my opinion, is among one of the best Organization 13 characters, not my all time favorite. Since my favorite Organization 13 characters also include Saix, Xigbar, Axel and Roxas. I really don't care if Marluxia is homesexual, heterosexual or metrosexual. As few of you metioned, these are just opinions. I like his style it's kind of cool, in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of Marluxia... I'm more of a Riku fan xD.

 

Marluxia's cool, he's not the best *cough*ZexionandSaïx*cough* but he was my favourite at one point. He is not gay at all. I think he's one of the evilest people in the organisation.

 

I like him and now he's kick butt in kh2fm+ what with doom and all
