Chain of Memories Marlusha?

It's an alright dub, but anyway they pronounce the name 'Marlusha' in it, and I found this in the comments.

Well it is spelled with an x, so likely it will be said that way.

The Japanese probably adjusted the 'x' sound in Marluxia much like they did with "Ze-ku-shi-on." Then again, we don't know exactly how his name is said either other than the Japanese way...

I'm pretty sure it will be with an X sound, rather than a "sh" sound. I mean, Xigbar, Axel (who in Japanese has a Sh sound for the X), and everyone all use that X sound... it wouldn't make sense to remove it.

 

yes you are right their propably going to say it how they write it Marluxia.. like that.

 

The japanese spelling of it is "Ma-ruu-ssha" so i guess that in English it will be spelled "Mar-luk-xia" and obviously the written version is Marluxia-

I just call him Pink.

But I like 'Marloosha' too. Sometimes I don't even put the 'a' on it, I just say "marloosh'.

 

I don'y like how the english also does the "Marloosh" (Sounds like they're almost saying marshmellow" sound, it just doesn't fit, unles Mar-(insert preferred pronunciation here) is french or something.

 

Marluxia's already girlish enough, and Marloosha adds to that XD
Anyway, aafter hearing a couple times in English vids it already sounds better than Marluxia to me as a name, but it just doesnt seem to suit a guy.
