Manga or Anime?

Which do you prefer? I know, sometimes it would depend on the anime/manga you are watching/reading but in general which appeals you more?

I honestly prefer manga to anime. Sure, it's fun watching the anime, how it won't get you tired of reading and you can just watch it. It is more fun after all. But I think most manga's have more detail, and heck, I like reading anyway xD So yeah, manga gets my vote.

 

Manga mostly because it's faster and portable.

 

I'm sorry, I had to vote anime. Manga is not really a book to me, so I would hardly ever read one :\.

 

I have to say that I don't really like either of them very much, but I think I like anime a little bit more. So I voted for anime.

 

Manga; you can read it anytime, has more detail and it's always ahead of the anime.

 

My vote is for Manga. It usually has more detail than the Anime.

 

Honestly, sometimes the anime is better than the manga and sometimes the manga is better than the anime. But I'd have to agree on manga.

 

I honestly prefer reading manga more, but when it comes to the action scenes, or fighting, something among those lines I'd rather see the anime.

 

I prefer manga cause it's faster. Anime takes too long. The only times Animes are good is when the story is more action based or if you want to understand something easier.

I've read about as much manga as I've seen anime, and neither's very much :[ So I probably wouldn't know...
I really like the art and expression in manga, so I'm voting for that. I find it unique.

 

Definitely manga. Though anime is good at points, because it... moves? lol.

Anime... I don't read manga and I don't think I ever will. Plus I like real action and moving pictures better than books.

 

Manga is alright but I rather watch Anime. Yeah, I've read a few mangas here and there but I always get really into animes. The only manga that I've really read and bought was Tokyo Mew Mew *looks at collection on bookself*. Besides anime is easier to find.

 

I'd say anime, mostly because it has sounds, moves, and has colors.

 

If your aim is story, then a majority of animes originated from manga, being anime as their adaptations. I would rather read a manga for a couple of minutes than see the chapter for 30 minutes. That would be time consuming just to know the story. Not to mention fillers in the anime, while most manga are committed to giving you their story straight up.

Something like Bleach or Naruto, I would rather want to watch the anime since most of their chapters consists of action, I would prefer to see them move.

For graphic visuals, I prefer anime because of the color. It's enhanced and it's nice to look at.

But everything else, it has to be manga for me.

 

I like comparing the two stories that each of them have, manga and anime. In the Full Metal Alchemist series, they were WAY off, but I liked the anime better. I have to say anime.

 

Manga for details and info.. i just watch the anime for the awesome effects O_O​

 

Anime for everything moveable, and manga for details. That's what I pick really. Anime. Yeah, anime. Anime's good for all things that have better effects than the manga.
