Say what you will, but you know it'd be funny if he won (weird-funny, anyway).

I find it funny that people do this stuff. It's all so ridiculous.

You know, for some reason I feel like taking up bets to see what comes up next. 'What's the next stupid thing somebody's going to do?' I'm pretty sure somebody's going to sue a soda company because they found a can opener-thing inside their soda next...I'm done.

You know, someone could end up suing Square Enix, or Disney's gaming department, then KH3 would be screwed O_o

People will sue anything now-a-days. It's rather sad really.

I don't understand why the guy didn't just return his game and get his money back.

You guys hear the one where a guy tried to break into another guy's car, the owner of the guy had a gun and shot the guy who was trying to break in, and the thief sued the shooter and received a bunch of money for it? He wasn't even tried the crime!

Or something like that. I don't remember all the details.

Thats why you are told to kill them so they can not sue. Its sad reallly that you are forced to such extreams just because the legal system sucks.

Apparently, it's not just this guy that is rather annoyed and there actually is a problem with the LE discs and possibly a couple others for the game. Also, there may be more lawsuits that were filed at first when MS wasn't doing much but just trying to repair issues, but they have issued that if people had problems with the discs recently (because of a scratch on them that MS thought was only cosmetic) to some Americans, that they'd trade discs for working ones.

However, I have to agree that filing a lawsuit for 5 million is insane and that MS is doing what it can to fix the problems, so this is just a money making scheme. If MS was doing nothing about it, sure, but they are attempting and this guy is looking for some easy cash and maybe is one of the most impatient jerks out there. I don't really think this lawsuit will go anywhere other than them telling MS to give the guy a new disc. If they do allow him to walk away with more then I agree that our legal system is screwed up.

I do have to agree, I do not see how microsoft is responsible for this.
