Well seeing as I got Re:CoM shortly after it was released and am still stuck at the second Larxene fight, yes, I am talking about the GBA version, lol.

Sorry for my derpishness. As playing both versions of the game, but now only having the Re: Chain of Memories, I do miss the GBA version. Some of glitches and quirks I found in the game were quite amusing, plus the Multiplayer mode was fun. I wish they had kept that in the remake and expanded on it.

As for the "repetitive" aspect, it's a game based on cards. That to me was kind of unavoidable, but the way the maps of each world/floor were laid out is what made it interesting. Plus, each boss battle was a little different, and playing as Sora required not just good cards, but a good strategy as well.

Oh no don't worry, there's no way you could have known my personal history with Re:CoM lol. I've personally never come across any glitches though? Then again I think I've only played it twice on each story.

I actually found the battling far less repetitive and mindless than in the first game. It made you think, it wasn't just "attack attack attack attack attack attack cure attack attack attack attack." What bothered me was how it became tedious, what with leveling up your CP, finding the right cards, constantly adjusting your deck, etc. And finding the right card to open the doors was often a nightmare (I am looking at you, Destiny Islands door).

I only played RE:CoM but I had had gotten tired enough of fighting and had a ton of map cards so I skipped like 95% of the fights in Destiny Islands and just ran straight through. I don't recall any doors that were particularly bad.

I dunno if they changed it in Re:CoM but I remember this one door in CoM that required, I think, a level 8 red card. It was so hard to find. :'c

When discarding maps I was very particular about trying to keep a wide range of numbers for all three colors, so that would be why that wouldn't phase me. What I did rather dislike was the the cumulation doors since those ate into my card balancing and my zeros were useless. But even after those it didn't take long to get back in order. I guess I was just luckier than a lot of people with those maps.

I couldn't finish Sora's story for the longest time. I spent literally about three days re-doing the last world over and over again, trying to find the one card that let me open the final door, and IT DIDNT GIVE ME IT! After three days, i finally got it and started swearin at my GBA for denying me of the ability of completing the game for so long.
