I see what you mean. I was pretty annoyed when I noticed that too, but then I thought "Aren't the Heartless really after the person wielding the keyblade?" I still don't have an answer to that question since this day.

 

After seeing their own kind being killed by humans, of course they are scared of them. They only attack to try and get their hearts.

However, if they really are "wimps" are seem to be scared of the humans, that means they have emotion, which also means that they really do have individual minds, yet chose to blindly collect hearts.

 

Heartless don't feel feelings, they haven't a heart and a mind, like ArchAwesomeman said, they don't attack for create a drammatic moment while an important conversation

 

it's a little sad though...
cause they had to weaken the heartless to make the nobodies appear strong...

 

Or Tifa's kung fu!XD At least nobodies can put up a fight.

I'm guessing they new that they'd just get killed if they attacked them, so they just went by them. I don't really get them just standing there when Cloud and Leon are about to kill them. Then again, they don't have minds, so they aren't smart enough to run away.

 

But if they can be scared, it shows some form of primordial emotion.

 

I just have to ask, did someone take this seriously? I was really bored and caffeinated when I did this, I had literally nothing better to do than this stupid thread of mine...
