I jus heard this on the news last night, so if there is another thread for this, then I am sorry. Apparently a man dressed up as Santa, walked into his mother-in-law's house, and started shooting, killed some people, and then set the house on fire. I havent heard more then that. Why does this stuff happen??

Yeah...I saw this on the tv and it was the first time I had seen American news so I was like O.O This is some crazy ****.

Eh...The murderer also died in the blaze while trying to escape, so he got what he asked for I guess.
I think it was ingenius that he dressed as santa though. A figure everyone likes.

    That's... pretty sad.

He burned a house and ruined other people's Christmas dressed as Santa. Just what was he thinking when he was doing this?

He was thinking that he could get revenge on his ex-wife and that's why he did it.

It's a sad event and it just shows how ****ed up some people can be.

    I'm guessing he's American?

Most of the bad world news is about America or its enemies.

Most of them being shootings of kids or at a time for kids.

To be fair, most of this stuff seems to happen in America because of the sheer size of the place. With more people there's more chance for more nutjobs. China's probably worse but they'd never broadcast that.

    Shame

You see this is why some people are just plain sick and it makes you wonder why someone would do something like that? This person clearly went insane for many reasons and just did the unthinkable act that could never be forgiven. It makes me mad and both sad that our society is reduced to ever hearing about these cruel acts.

I've heard very little on this.I heard a little of it today. They said something about he lit something and somehow that caught fire and that's how he ended up dying.I'm not sure.I was listening to music when I was watching it.And the little boy he shot, they said that the little boy thought it was Santa that came to the house and stuff.Very sad to hear people die on Christmas just for someone's curel act.

It sucks but it was bound to happen at some point. People go crazy at times and there's nothing we can do about it.

Lololol I hear many conflicting stories here and many of them are wrong xD

I read this in the paper today while I was on my break in work. He was "disgruntled" after a bitter divorce settlement and wanted to get back at his ex-wife. He dressed up as santa and went to her house carrying a big "present". A little girl opened the door, she thought it was santa bringing presents, and he shot her in the face >_> (She survived but is in a critical condition in hospital). In all he had 4 weapons. In the box he had a home made device which sprayed inflammable liquid around the house. He also shot at the party guests as they ran away. Two of the guests are in hospital and are expected to recover. In all nine bodies were recovered, out of 25 guests, but dental records are needed as they are too badly burned to identify them in any other way. After doing all this he drove to his brothers home and shot himself in the head.

He had planned to escape to Canada (they found $17,000 and a plane ticket to Canada on his person) but was badly burned by the fire and obviously thought he wouldn't make it =/.

i facepalm at him. this truly is sad. what idiot does that? i mean, i know that he just lost alot, but that is NO reason to go murder people! or hurt people! if i'd known he would've done that before he did, i'd have shot him in the leg... from a safe distance of course.... so im not known... xD but yeah, i really hope all the injured recover. this shows that humanity is going down the ceramic hole.

    Wow.
    Santa gone bad.
When I saw the title of this thread I though it was something funny, but that was disturbing.

I hope the man rots in Hell for even doing something so horrible and disturbing. I hope this doesn't traumatize children's views on Santa Claus with this image.
