Make up the story plot for kh3 (Group Effort)

that's what I meant. Willpower only can prolong the inedible. if you go under constant torture. By torture I mean Jack Bauer torture, you know from 24. I don't mean getting pick on in school. When you go under the kind of torture that I'm talking about, then you will crack. When I said that will power has nothing to do with it, I just meant that it is impossible to resist forever.

I think the long replies do us a lot of good. we can cover a lot like that.

Edit: I think that we should start writing this game's Reports. We need to come up with a name for them that doesn't give Xehanort away. I'm thinking that we could call them either the Secret Reports, or The DIZ Reports. I really think that we should have Xehanort be disguised as DIZ at the beginning of the game.

Anyway. Xehanort disguising himself as DiZ? When exactly, "at the beginning"? Remember that DiZ/Ansem is dead, so his appearance WILL arise suspicion. Especially from Mickey and Riku, who won't take too long to realise it isn't him.

I'll start thinking of the Reports. I suggest that we each do the first one (if you're interested in doing so, of course), then compare. It will be useful, because we'll gather ideas from several people, and then put them together. Also, the Report itself will have several writing styles in it, making it more mysterious for the sharp-eyed player.

Oh, and as for Xemnas saying he doesn't remember any feeling except Hate and Anger, you just brought a new solid argument to the Xehanort = Terra theory. Remember what Terra said after fighting him, how he only has his hatred for (Master) Xehanort left.

Finally, even if we do gain a lot by ridiculously tremendous posts, remember that it discourages people from reading them. Not everyone likes reading long posts, and those who do might give up if they don't understand. That's why the Wiki is so useful. It's much more simple.

I think DIZ would work out perfectly. he doesn't have to appear around mickey or Riku. I have an idea on how to make it work. I'll write a report and send it to you.

We weren't many people at first, and that's why we bombed ideas in huge essays. Seriously, one text was longer than the dissertation I handed in the same day.

I think that we should start think about the reports, because that can help give us an even better idea on how to direct the game's story. Kme92, you seem more interested in the worlds and you also seem to have a lot of knowledge in disney movies (or at least it seems like you've watched a lot). would you like to give some ideas about the worlds that we should have and how you think we should approach making a story for them?

StarSeeker99, I'm really interested on your ideas for how the Reports should work. I'm also interested in your opinion of the one that I sent you. Feel free to give your opinions for worlds. Sword in the Stone is pretty much a definite I think.

I have a basic idea for Hercules' world. I think that this time we should have a coliseum on Mount Olympus. That way we can introduce Zeus and such. We also should have the titans show up. that would be epic!

 

A while ago, I gave the idea of pulling a Keyblade out of the Stone in the Sword and the Stone. At first, I intended the Keyblade to be for Kairi, but that was before we thought of the new Keybladers.
Now that we settled on ideas for sveral new Keybladers, maybe one could get his trsuted Key out of that Stone. However, that would mean we must modify the original Sword and the Stone story, with which, unfortunately, I'm not too familiar. What do you all think?

Also, for the reports, it's coming. Pezz, I just sent you a prototype of the first, but your own ideas for the first report are awesome. Hope you don't mind me posting the reports we thought of yet :

The only issue here with the keyblade being the sword is that this is a King Arthur story so ultimately Arthur/Wart (Wart was what they mainly called him in the movie) would have to be the one who ends up with the sword.

Perhaps we should have Turpis (corruption) make an appearance and take the sword while Kairi is there. So, Kiari has to get back the keyblade while she is there. If we do this, then Kairi should be the last to visit Camelot since The sword was removed at the end of the movie.

I like Lilo and Stitch. The theme of that movie works great. Stitch was made to be a weapon, but upon meeting Lilo He learns about friendship and develops a personality. that would be great!

as for how things can work out for each character, here's what you need to think about. Sora is the type of guy that would go to a world and meddle in the world's affairs. he would make friends and help who ever he finds. basically he would be the guy who would get the most involved in that world's story.

Kairi would be just passing through and do her best not to mess up the world order. she would make friends like Sora, but would try not to get too involved. She is out looking for Sora and Riku and to do that she must go from world to world by finding that world's keyhole thing she uses to travel from world to world.

As for Riku, he's not there to make friends. he's the tough guy who would only meddle when he feels that it is truly necessary. He is moving from world to world to find out what is going on with the universe and discover a way to stop it. He would probably encounter the keybladers the most often and will try to gain information from them. Riku will be the hardest to incorporate into a world's story. you will have to be clever with him.

 

Lilo and Stitch is a definite yes. After all, Stitch was a summon. Having him become a Party member will make him similar to Simba from KH1 to KH2.

Also, I just figured out a way to include The Sword and the Stone. Hopefully it's not too long to read.

Riku would be the first to arrive. He will explore the world, without seeking to make friends or anything. But, as he asks to someone is they's seen "a young boy, slighty immature?", he'll receive information about the young King Arthur. If I undersand the story, he was named Wart at the time. I'll assume that's true. So, Riku will learn about Wart, but, more importantly, about a "powerful sword" in a rock. He'll think that's a Keyblade, and thus try to see it, without meddling too much in the world's affairs. He'll find out it's just an "ordinary" sword, but he'll meet Corruption while at it. This will be Corruption's (or someone's else, but I thought of him) first appearance. He too thought it was a Keyblade in the Stone, but as he meets Riku, both their plans change, for they learn of the existence of other Keybladers.

Kairi would be secodn to come. With her benevolent attitude, she'll encourage Wart to accomplish his destiny or whatever and pull the Sword out of the Stone. Again, I'm not too familiar with the story, so criticisim is needed. But since King Arthur was named "Wart", I can safely assume he's not too confident. So having Kairi encourage him will be good for him. The Keyhole that Kairi seeks to move through the world will be in the hole that the Sword leaves, upon being pulled out of the Stone. Kairi will then leave.

Finally, Sora would come in last, talk to everybody, and get himself involved. Hey, you can't blame him ; when he talks to Wart and learns that Kariri guided him, they'll stick together. Then, he can, as always, help defeat the evil of that world. What is it? Hell if I know. My knowledge on the King Arthur Disney world comes from a kids show I saw more than 10 years ago.

And we have all 3 characters, a nice place to hide Kairi's Keyhole, a new Keyblader making his first appearance, Sora, Kairi and Riku staying in their character's personalities, a Disney World done, and a cherry on top.


Finally, about Lilo and Stitch : I just realised that their world would be very similar to Destiny Islands. This will surely be useful. I already see Kairi and Lilo becoming friends.

 

Well the sword, in the movie, was even mentioned except at the very beginning and the very end. so it should only play an important role for the last person who gets there.

As for Wart's destiny, Merlin knows that he will be important, but he doesn't know why. Most of the movie involves Merlin "educating" Wart to think for himself and become his own person.

Here's what I think is the best approach. We need to explain why Merlin is there. Sora knows Merlin, so it makes sense for Sora to go there first. Merlin should say that he had a vision about Wart. by the time Sora gets there, Merlin should already be educating Wart. Sora should help out here.

Then comes Riku, he meets Turpis (corruption). They talk, they examine the sword, and Turpis disappears shortly afterwards. Then Riku hears a commotion. He finds Merlin "battling" Madam Mim. Merlin Wins so Riku turns to leave, then he hears Madam Mim say, "Who are you supposed to be? Hey! what are you doing?!" Riku turns around to see a dark portal vanish. Madam Mim has been turned into a Desoul. Riku suddenly finds a reason to butt in, and he fights Madam Mim's Desoul.

Kairi should be last. Turpis should have returned to the world to take the sword (the sword is a keyblade that is similar to Riku's). At some point during her visit, Wart should pull the sword from the stone. Nobody believes he did it so they put the sword back and ask him to prove it. Before Wart can prove it, Turpis appears to take the sword. He pulls it out and runs off. Kairi chases him and confronts him. Turpis transforms the sword into it's keyblade form and also summons his other Keyblade. they fight, and Kairi wins.

For most of the worlds, when a character first visits a world, their should be only heartless. the next visit should have a lot of heartless, and a few desouls. the final visit soul have a few heartless and a lot of Desouls.

 

As for donald and goofy, they will be off with Mickey. They will make a few appearances, but they will not be party members. remember, we want a more serious tone here. (we should put this question in our FAQs page)

Camelot is a definite because the theme of that movie works great, and I'm guessing that Kaua'i is one of the islands in Hawaii (for Lilo and Stitch), so that would be a yes. however, I think we should try to think up a name that isn't the name for a place on earth. like for Lion King, they chose Pride Lands instead of Africa. the world's name could be called The Garden Isle (which is the nickname for Kaua'i), but I don't like that name. I suppose that Kaua'i probably is the best name. I'll re-watch the movie and see what else I can find.

 

We really need to start thinking up Riku's beginning, We haven't really even started on him yet.

 

As for the Reports, How about a mixture of two types?
Whoever finds them (I kind of see Mickey's group doing recon and finding the reports and then sharing them with SRK) notices some reports don't match the tone of the others, different vocabulary, etc.

Then after finding out Turpis made the emblem Desouls, it's learned that Xehanort made a set of reports on what he learned about the Desouls that he controls (the Purebreed) and Turpis managed to steal his reports and data and used them to make the Emblem Desouls and during one of his fights with Xehanort (If Xehanort does take control of the Emblems, the fight where he does so) the reports are scattered?

BTW I just read a couple posts on the last page of this thread...I did not even know this thread was here till I read the wiki.

As for Riku's story, we need to write something that separates him from Sora. Maybe the gummi ship crashes and Riku goes through his awakening and wakes up to his first Desoul enemy? Or wakes up to find a bunch of defeated Heartless and starts to think Xehanort's Heartless possessed him while he "awakened" and defeated the Heartless (IN this scenario, Riku's story would have to do with his fear of not being free of darkness like we thought) and to find out later that one of the Keybladers (whoever's more associated with Riku) defeated the HEartless.
And Chip and Dale are separated, one with Sora, one with Riku, after the crash.
Or both go with one of them. It'd be weird having Sora not having any companions at first, especially Disney ones (unless Jiminy plays a bigger role). And on the other hand, They would add comedy to Riku's scenes.

as for Riku. We been thinking of doing something where he lands in Radiant Gardens and regains the ability to use darkness. We just don't know how we want to play about this. I think that the open should have a scene where he is waking up at radiant gardens. The scene would feature a quick flashback to show how he got here. that's all I really got for him.

As for Radiant Gardens, I think that Leon's gang should be done with repairing the town. now they should be renovating the castle. we need Riku to encounter at least one desoul during his visit here so we can have his station of awakening scene.

 

I can see Riku's awakening being different than the others. Like he awakens in the middle of an attack and decides he needs darkness to effectively use Way to Dawn since that keyblade represents light AND darkness. I don't want him turning into Xehanort's Heartless again but it would be cool seeing an upgraded Dark Form (like KH1). Or have him fight with Xehanort's Heartless's Guardian. (But those have to do with my Riku fanness)
I at first thought of making the Desoul SUCCESSFULLY attack him and when Riku's will is broken and he realizes he's changing into a Desoul (but he wouldn't know what the creature was yet), he uses darkness to keep himself "right" and hides the fact from Sora and Kairi.
But does that role seem a lil repetive for him? At first he falls into the darkness (kh1), then he accepts it (com), and then he becomes it in a way but hides it (kh2)

 

Xehanort's heartless is dead in our story. It died when Ansem did that thing to the yellow moon, in kh2. Because it died before Xehanort's nobody. Xehanort was able to be revived. Therefore, we don't need to worry about Xehanort's heartless.

Dark form upgrade is a definite. I'm also all for your reasoning for why Riku needs to use darkness again. but we need someone to give him the ability to do so again. Remember, at the end of KH2 Riku couldn't use darkness. I have a solution.

Blaze/Choas is suppose to a master of Darkness. This means he is the one who wields darkness; darkness doesn't wield him. I think that Blaze should have a keyblade that is similar to the fake one that Riku had at the end of KH1. Like that keyblade, his Keyblade should be able to release the darkness in a person's heart too; however, unlike the other keyblade, Blaze's keyblade should release darkness in a controlled fashion. This helps to give a person a fighting chance in preventing the darkness from swallowing them whole.

Blaze should do this to Riku against Riku's will. This can explain why Riku and Blaze aren't on good terms.

Edit: once a person's will is broken, then they are a desoul. There is no turning back. We can't have the desouls take even one bite out of Riku's will, for if they do, Riku would end up as a torch.

 

Good, Ansem is a tired idea.

I like it, but what's Blaze's reason?
He's an anti HERO so i can't see him doing it just to cause Chaos.

1.Either he figured Riku would help him if RIku embraced the darkness
2.Did it to save Riku but Riku of course hates the darkness at this point.
3.Or just felt Riku's inner darkness or something and was curious on how strong it is or brought it out to see how what Riku's capable of
