Slade Wilson = Deathstroke (DC)
Wade Wilson = Deadpool (Marvel)

Slade is not a mutant (though he was physically enhanced in the military).
He is more of a serious business character. The first of the two we've discussed to be introduced in comics.

Wade is a mutant, a product of the Weapon-X Program (where Wolverine got his adamantium skeleton)
He is more of a comic relief character, known for constantly breaking the Fourth Wall. The second of the two, meant to be a parody of Deathstroke.
