Mafia [Mafia] The Masquerade in Salem ~ GAME OVER (MAFIA WINS)

We suggested doing that last day cycle and only about 4 people actually did it. And then some of those that were on the list were heavily offended. The offense could be taken because they actually are mafia, or they for some reason are truly offended that we would think them that when they're actually townie, but none elaborated on why they didn't belong on the mafia list. So far, the only person I can actively remove from my mafia list is burnitup and that's because he died. I can amend my list, but only in the sense that I'm replacing his name with someone else.

It doesn't change the fact that people were requested to do this yesterday so that we could compare results and they all mostly opted out of it.

 

or maybe i firstly started to talk actively to defend a townie [ tale ] and then was suspected and asked them for their reasons [ and tried my best to dispute ] and then tried to point out that thinking people are mafia bc they view the thread but don't post ?????? does that activity count as 'popping in' ???

and besides i haven't voted bc yeah i'm a very indecisive person and i don't want to make a wrong choice [ which obvs i haven't bc everyone that y'all have voted for has been a townie soooo ] and give myself a bad name. and yes i realize that not doing such also makes me more suspicious but there are enough people who are quick to vote and make a bad choice so i don't have to tbh.

imo i think my inactivity hasn't helped or harmed yes but even if i were to vote for someone [ and give a reason ] it wouldn't even make a diff bc everyone just follows james' and below's assumptions anyway ??

 

Oh... Sorry, I uh, guess I was one of those peeps who opted out. XD lol, Marushi feels silly now.

So I have a bad memory, and I left my notes at my house. So atm, I can only remember three of the five. (after I made such a big deal out of this, too. Shame on me.)

1. Skull Joke
This is mainly because I still feel like he's using DigitalAtlas to further his own designs without appearing as suspicious, and when I brought this up before, he responded by saying that he wouldn't make a defense unless more people started suspecting him, which only made me suspect him even more. Either he's Mafia and wanted time to come up with something, or he's a townie and is just being flippant about this whole thing.

2. Cstar
I... I really don't have any proof on this one, I'll have to go back and read through some more stuff for this one. I just... something's telling me he's a major suspect.

3. Jiku Neon
So... okay, for this one, I still suspect Jiku a lot, because of the things I mentioned in my wall of post earlier. But I'm going to be honest with you all, I suspected Cat might be the detective. Turns out, she was a mystery writer instead, but still. I first started looking at Jiku because of the sheer amount of times Cat voted for her, and I came up with a reasonable justification of my suspicions, and the reason I pushed for her lynching yesterday was because I was trying to determine whether or not Cat was the detective. My reasoning was this: If Jiku turns out to be Mafia, that's one more reason to think Cat might be the detective. If Jiku's not Mafia, Cat isn't the detective, and might even be Mafia. But then Cat died today and now the backing for both suspicions have fallen through, and as today is our last chance, I'm not going to be pushing to vote Jiku when I'm not half as sure as I was yesterday. (though I wasn't completely sure on my suspicions yesterday either.) HOWEVER: I still suspect Jiku a lot, due to the things I found when I was investigating Cat.

So... there's three on my list, though admittedly, two are poorly explained and one is now more doubtful than ever before. But unfortunately, I have a whole lot of very important things to do today, so I can't spend any more time here atm. I'll try to be better prepared tonight.

But the way you're talking... even with the fix.... It's like... Of course you wouldn't be sad to see a mafia go, and the way it's all connected it's still contradicting. You need a negative before such a counter-active positive.

I'll chalk this up to reading too much into this, but I'm also not disregarding what was possibly a Freudian Slip.

I think beau has been wise not to lose his head in the midst of all of this. That was he's been able to keep ahead of the game. However, it seems that we as a group are headed for a loss because the mafia have such a huge head start. But if we keep a collectively cool head, we won't get into trouble headfirst. But there's some overhead to consider whenever making these kinds of plays. I also don't think the data I've collected will be of much use this round so I'm gonna probably be a little laggy on it, just giving you all a heads up.

Jiku, having said nothing to anybody the entire game except voting and posting stats (to my knowledge), coming out and defending someone seems suspicious to me.

Layer the defense to give yourself all kinds of outs all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that you defending someone is unprecedented and therefore cause for raising an eyebrow. And you defending Beau and Beau liking both of your posts is reason to assume you two are on the same side. If we lynch you and you turn out to be mafia, well... sorry, Beau.

I know I've said in the past that even if she is mafia we shouldn't vote for her yet, but if in lynching a townie we lose, I'm going to go ahead and vote her regardless.

 

Other people need to start making decisions. We have until what tomorrow(?) before the day ends?
